6.6 in 30mph?!"

are you sure?!

forward velocity is not a problem when u r on deck just place it forward and after landind cut wind again:D

last weekend made few very good jumps with my blade 6.6 and winds about 30mph. The tactic was to gain max speed (on аsphalt ) and than turn kite up  and land already on the grass. Dunno about high but length was about 15 meters great fellings of floating

highest probs bout 10ft minimum to be safe, on a board, video footage if u wanna see. has been other time when i have been very high (hurt ankle) but dont have evidence apart from peoples word of mouth, will have to ask some one how high it was that was also on board (except landing  )

Just looked at the thread on 'Scariest video ever'.

That must be the highest jump ever, if you can call it a jump; more like a flight really. I have been 15 feet in the air but this guy is like 150 feet. Suicide case if ever there was one. What did I see on TV? "Do Not try this at home".

I jumped a pathetic 5ft in the air and a not so pathetic 15ft forward. I say jump, but I actually mean I was pulled 5ft in the air and 15ft forward. It was my first time power kiting with my first kite.

6ft - FireBee 3.0 - double jump thingy, big gusty winds

8ft - Blade III 4.9 - nice steady wind, swing jump

I use handles for serious jumping, I tend to use my bar with harness and I dont fancey landing on the spreader bar, that could seriously mash you up.

seen a video with some guy caught in an updraft, and he was seriously high, like 100-200ft, that would be soo coll while scaring the **** out of you at the same time
