To VPS or not to VPs

Posting this for a mate.

 

He has a 9mtr blade 2 and is not sure wheather on not to go to VPS. He has flown VPS on other kites and is impressed with ease of flying and like sysytem set up, but is concerned about expensively converting a kite and not being totally happy with the result. on such a big kite. Also concerned about saftey issue of not being able to completely depower the kite at quick notice

 

Any coments appreciated.

Still not got round to VPSing my 7.8.... got the kit and everything, but would just rather go out and fly rather than spend hours rebridling.....

KILLER thanks for posting to day Newboy just orderd my vps should have on wednesday may need help see how i go still not to sure if i have dune the right thing flew brians the weekend seem ok

Go on bro..tell em all how slow and crappy she is & the fact it just won`t ever turn...

 

Bri`s need`s a little help bud..it could turn much better..

But we`ll get them both sorted..no worries..

I don't have a problem with the speed or turn rate of kites on VPS, it's the general 'feel' of the kite that I don't like at all. I can best describe it as spongy and not at all like depower on LEIs. Oh yeah, and the bottom end of the windrange...

 

Ye canny beat a 2 line Blade.
