Paul_bahn Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 If anybody wants some excellent knee pads I can really recommend these. They have multi layers of neoprene and padding, and no hard cap so you can wear them under your trousers. Quote
Dr_Nick Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 Hey Paul Was looking at gettin a pair of veggies, had a bad fall of the board and did me knee in the other day So have had plenty of time to look on the net! Didn't find any that looked better than them, I wear an old pair of hard knox arm/elbow pads which are similar construction and they've served me very well How comfortable/flexible are they? and how much were they? cheers bud Quote
Paul_bahn Posted February 9, 2003 Author Report Posted February 9, 2003 They are very flexible, I don't notice them at all. The nice thing is they were developed for mountain biking so were designed for lots of leg moving. They are much nicer than any hard cap knee pads I tried on. But the 661 hard cap pads look good to wear underr under shorts in the sumer, when the ground is harder. I got mine from the bike dept. of the local Halfords for £35, some bike shops sell them at £30. Quote
Dr_Nick Posted February 9, 2003 Report Posted February 9, 2003 nice one, i'll go have a look at halfords. Quote
