Hell yeah, paul.

The Blades seem expensive to purchase but once you fly them you forget about the cost. :D

S,tigerer; When i go out on saturday night, can i borrow your kite bag. I can then lend it to the slapper i pull so when she leaves my house after cooking my breakfast, the neighbours won't take the **** outta me later on. Im always a victim of beer goggles;)

i was flying mine today when it was wet and got really muddy, wait untill you take it out in 20+ mph winds (if you do) i was very very scary being puled on your belly toward a rugby goal post. shat me pants never done it since, but today couln't of been to far of 20.

It was another very low wind day again here so I went to my local park, and had some fun, the pull is mental.

Had a crowd of spectators at one point, which just happened to coincede with the moment I slipped and went for the butt scud.

oh I recognise that thing, that was responsible for body drag across the field on my back, the high speed shoulder launch into field, the jump followed by the stumble followed with a face plant and nicely finished with the face first body drag.

my knee is swollen, ribs feel like hell, and I have a general dull body ache. hmm kiting :)

remember these days (they dont happen often)

usually they look a little worse(facial expressions i mean)

but hey its the scary days that keep us all flying , otherwise we would not go back for more body drags

A dog pissed on my harness saturday. I was realy annoyed as I'd been realy nice to everyone else on the beach. The guy didn't even apologise when I shouted "Hey, stop your dog pissing on my stuff".

Oh well, there's stupid kite owners as well, I guess.

Well, luckily, as we were packing up, a black line appeared on the horizon and before we could walk the mile back to the car, we got soaked. Proper, to-the-bone, icy cold wind freezing, soaked. So, the harness got a free wash. Which I suppose is ok.

I took the family to the park and let the wife thump the stacker into the ground for half an hour this afternoon. Man, it was windy, definately not blade wind, it was lumpy as all hell. God, I hate park flying, I don't know how you guys do it.

park flying? you mean flying in a park? I only ever do that occasionally (well, not a park - a field) ie. when i cant get a lift to selsley or cleeve, or when i have just got back from school and want somewhere quick to go flying. Much better (and safer) to fly on a common. Never flown on a beach yet though, can't wait for that day to come.................

I meant "park flying" as an umbrella term for anything other than sand. Grass feels soft until you hit it hard. Flying on the beach is the best thing ever. I'm blessed with living right near a beach and it's great. Sand is so soft and you leave huge lines up the beach which looks great after 4 hours of leaping up and down.

You must get to a beach. It's heaven, Joelio!

(unless your common is sandy, in which case, ignore all the above)

I think you would find that most people would rather fly/buggy on sand, however the beach is quite a drive for some of us and the park is our only practical option. My main interest is sailing however I got involved in buggy as it is something I can do for a couple of hours locally. This means that a can have some great fun without being gone all day and get accused of neglecting my family. However I am planning some trips to the coast in the summer hopefully for some great blasts up and down the beach.

The park is always handy for a quick scud at lunch as well….
