Hey Roy - I head over there occasssionally - its the closest beach to Lincoln. It's wavey gravy but at mid tide there is a nice lagoon if its onshore.

In a cross shore its flaaaaaaaattttt too, but otherwise you can get a bit of a nasty shore dump (it dont bother me, but the mrs hates it!)

I tend to park in Princes Parade car park (you can pay by phone) at the South end of the car park, walk down the path to the beach and turn right for about 150m. I tend to be the only 1 down there (unless the wife is with me of course :).

It's brown and 'orrible, but it's closest beach and I've had some cracking sessions if you ignore the mud on the beach and the patches of clay - it aint Weston Supermud, but I could see why it might put people off.

If you want space - you'll get plenty of it!
