plummet
Me too..... 30m it distance easy peasy. I do that every session. now 30m it height that's a different story. I didn't see any 30m jumps in that vid. maybe 15m,,,, which is still worthy indeed. but not 30m.
The Geoff
There's possibly one around 20m (2mins in) - remember that 30m is higher than the kite is when it's directly overhead. It's easy to jump that high, just go out stupidly powered up on a small board and really wang the kite back. Doing it safely, however, that takes experience. It's not about getting up there, it's about getting back down again.
mick
Lenton was only doing sub 20s at the Red Bull Mega loop event in 40 knots of wind. Mind, not saying he hasn't done 30 but.............. Check out 6.29 in. Edited January 20, 2014 by mick

Andy-j
I don't mega loop till I'm at the top. well you're not megalooping, you're kitelooping. there is a difference.
mick
How the f*** do you know? If the kite is under me on the rotation that is now called a megaloop. It used to be a kiteloop back in the day.

Tone
On a few occasions I have been slightly over kites at 12 but it's been due to being monster overpowered and off flat water.

Monkey Nuts
Some shite discussed on this forum, the answer to the original question, go out in 30mph +, hold your kite down for as long as you can and then throw it to 12 to begin with then keep boosting up holding it above your head, then once you have the nack, throw it further and twang you will boost, keep watching Lenton vs time on the water and in no time you will be up there.... Piece of piss One of the best unique feelings ....
