Dave2005 Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 Cheers Mick I am a member of the stopsley flyers. And it is a great place to fly when its not waterlogged Just intended going Hitchin direction as its kinda easy for me, my parents live out that way. Quote
lives2fly Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 I certainly wouldn't bother with powerbars... they are very overpriced compared to just eating a Snickers which has similar nutritional content If you are landboarding i would get a bar & harness as early as possible. It will help you achieve the right riding position and let you ride longer because your arms will tire very quickly without one. Its also going to help you slide the board (for turns, braking or just for laughs) and ride toeside. If you are still learning to fly your kite then stick with what you have but if you are already running up and down on the board then i would get a bar and harness and move on. Also get an instructional DVD or something - the Progression one is good. it will answer all your Newbee questions and give you stuff to work at. Have fun! Quote
Batz Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 Harness. Yes. Bar? On a fixed bridle? Bollocks. Use a strop on handles. Quote
