I've been out of action for nearly 6 months now due to an injury similar to a tennis or golf elbow (Excessive load for a coupe of years during kiting, now I'm paying the price  ). Long story short - it's not really all fine and dandy, but spring is coming in Denmark and in just over a week I'm attending Red Bull Ragnarok in Norway, so it's time to get back out there :-)

I went out last Friday for a quick session after work in really good conditions. I'm still a little rusty, but it's coming back really quickly :good:

Anyway just wanted to send out a shout :drinks:

Nice photos! Let us know how you go at the Ragnarok event, from the videos i've seen that looks epic.

Thanks :-)

Yea - I'm leaving for Norway in a week with a couple of friends (Somebody in here might actually know one of them https://www.facebook.com/shaun.hammargren.5) and planning on shooting some videos and make an edit when I'm getting back home :-)

I did a write up from last years event on my blog: http://www.powerkiter.dk/kiting/ragnarok

Just read your write up.

Good luck this year

Thanks - I have no aspirations of getting a podium placement, but it would be great to actually complete this year :-)

hey man. I think we may have discussed this on a thread in the past,,,, but my memory us vague.

A change of kite to light bar pressure might be what is required. I too get tennis/golfers elbow, I can remember which one.

I need kites with light bar pressure. My flysurfer speed had light bar pressure as does my new chrono. As do my inflatables.

It makes a huge difference. Particularly for dudes that suffer from elbow issues.

A couple of years back I had to sell a brand new lei because the manufacturer doubled the bar pressure from one year to the next....

Yea that's right - it seems I have no other option than to switch kites or change riding style to racing (I never get the pain when racing). Both options kinda sucks, but if it's the last resort then I just have to live with it ;-)

The Chrono might very well be my next kite if I'm going to change, or the new flysurfer (Hah dreaming of winning the lottery) ;-)

You wont regret stepping into a chrono or fs sonic. Its simply a different level of performance. Upwind is insane, speed is insane and lift is rediculous. Head high plus in 12-15 knots on my 12m chrono!....

There will be a learning curve to get used to launching/landing with all those bridles. But once sorted you wont look back.

Yea I had a quick go on a 12 meter last year at Ragnarok- they do perform very well :-)

Well the only thing I might regret is the interest on the loans I have to get to afford a set of Chrono's - let alone the new FS
