I first learned of the concept of n+1 by studying Velominati's rules: http://www.velominati.com/the-rules/ There are any number of essential rules to be found here. N+1 is rule #12. My favorite of Velominati's rules of course is rule #5. Applies to pretty much everything life may throw at you. Rule #5: Harden the frack up. ssayre
ssayre
got something new headed my way. it comes with gullwing charger reverse kingpin trucks and I have my 10" double kingpin sidewinder trucks left from the broken board so I'm hoping to have the best of both worlds for kite longboard. It is the Sector 9 mini lookout. Bamboo deck with mild concave. I'll do a kite specific review when I get it. ssayre
Board came yesterday. Wind wasn't cooperative but I took it for a spin anyway. This board has a mild concave and enough flex to feel very comfortable underfoot. The charger trucks turn extremely well but I may switch bushings to give better rebound and be a better match for my weight. My previous boards had a wheel base of 23" on one and 30" on the second. This board has a wheelbase of 28" which feels perfect at my height of 5'10". You know, too hot, too cold, this seems right. I'm excited to get a good test with a kite. windstruck and jhn.holgate

plummet
Looks very sweet. 28.5" is the wheelbase of my favourite board... its gona be a good one!
ssayre
Had a great time with the 1.5 single keel npw and the mini lookout board. That kite's a hoot when conditions are right. Wind was teasing me a little today but still had a good time. @plummet, that wheel base feels perfect under foot. That coupled with very good turning trucks and big soft wheels makes a great combo for kiting. agriarte and windstruck

ssayre
kiting in a whisper. Never before has my raw video been so quiet. I was trying to take advantage of some light wind after work. No movement in the trees and all you hear are the birds and faint sound of my wheels agriarte, windstruck, IMK and 1 other

You need the kite higher to get some clean air.

ssayre
scored a deck on a scratch and dent sale from a guy that makes these custom on the east coast. He doesn't have an official website. Only sells off various social media and a skate forum. 28 long, 21 wheel base, no concave, has rocker. Should be a hoot with the kite with some good grip tape. windstruck and bakersdozen
