Stu - those weren't meant to be a negative comments, it is a positive thing to suggest that you can learn more and become better isn't it?

We all have stuff to learn and things to work on, we need to accept help wherever we find it...

I don't have access to the T3 but it is obvious that it is a very rigid and well built buggy. Ozzy is correct that there are no "bad" buggies in the race buggy crowd.

I have wanted a PTW buggy for years and saw my opportunity when he said he was coming to NABX last year. We fretted over our size differences and wondered if I would fit. Well, the day came that I was finally face to face with Popeye and I sat down in the Hero buggy. I wanted it to work for me but knew deep down that it wasn't the right choice for me. I'm just too wide in the hips and the thighs. I'm 6'4" and about 230 lbs, so I need some room to fit in, and the Hero doesn't have that as it was custom made for Popeye.

I started considering the possibility of buying Ozzie's Apexx because I fit in it so well. With my harness on, I slip into the seat with pressure on both siderails and then pop into place when I push myself back with my feet. Ozzie's buggy wasn't custom built for me but it sure seems like it was. I have never felt so secure as in the Apexx. Riding on the lakebed, and hitting rough spots that exist along an underground pipeline that crosses the lake do not cause any nervousness. Just fly right through them with no concern that I'm coming out of the buggy or that the buggy is going to do anything other than keep going the direction I have it pointed. For the first time since I learned to buggy, I no longer wonder what might be better for me than the buggy I have right now. Obviously, my buggy is no longer a limitation on my performance, since it has been faster than any other in the world!

lol

i didnt decide the flip of the coin did. i gave the tornado 3 the queens head for home advantage. but it landed tails.

very little in it. the price does vary. but the scene now has 3 or 4 top buggy racer making tried and tested deigns to your spec. they it all comes down to your preferance, price and what ever side the coin lands on

the hardest thing about buying a new buggy is getting sometime in one your looking at, it may not be custom to you but that would help you decide. at the euro's i got a quick run in an apex and had been in a T3 a few times but didn't go from one to the other to directly compare straight away so the both were on a par with each other
