Sysmic S1

Hello Im new to this forum and was looking for some reviews on the Sysmic kite buggy .Im sure there is some info here just was hoping to fast track to the info ,thanks.

I know there are a few out there using S2's but Im not sure about S1's?

I have tried a mates S2 (sorry shameless blog plug) http://baldiviskitebuggy.blogspot.com.au/2013/01/would-i-get-sysmic-s2.html. Not a proper review as I only used it a couple of times - an interesting comment from a French Sysmis rider!

The Sysmics do represent fantastic value for money but the S2 is far more popular than the S1.

I seem to have the only active S1 in the country and even I generally recommend the S2.

There aren't really any reviews out there, but here are a few threads to get you started:

Slartibartfast does indeed have the S1, it would actually be nice if we could nudge him to write up a review on his ride, I know he went to a lot of trouble deciding on his purchase........ I'd like to hear what he thinks of it this far down the track too.

Thanks for the replies.I now have a Sysmic S1 with the XXL package and think it is great other than the weight but that will be good for big speed runs on the beach . I am lucky enough to have 4 buggies so the S1 will only be seeing the beach or the playa where I will be using the 17 inch wheels .I love the look and feel of this massive three wheeler and I am currently installing a wireless sound system for those long cruises on the beach .

Very close Clive ,but not the USA .I am from Vancouver Canada, have been kiting for 16 years in all disciplines ,kitesurf,snowkite,ATB,dirtsurfer,and buggy until 4 years ago when I had a serious and life changing work place accedent where I broke my spine at the L1-L2 vertabrae and extencive nerve damage which limits the use of my legs and has put me in a wheelchair .I do have mid strenght back in the legs after years of rehab and can do some walking and stairs but am limited to kite buggying but have been back on the water and want to get back on the snow or ice with the use of blades on my S1.

That sounds like an intriguing story. Do you have any photos or blog posts discussing your journey? I'd be interested to read more about it, and I'd be fascinated to see an S1 on ice!

Thanks guys I just updated the seat ,side protection with new sivler logo to match the seat,sand guard and picked up some swag from the buggy kite shop they are a great group and have excellent service.
