KiteKim Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 My GCSE graphics project is to rebrand a company and I want to do mine on landboarding. Since I'm kinda new to the sport can anybody think of any companies or products that have either fallen out of favour, died down or aren't very poular that I might not have heard of. It doesn't mattter what they make it can be boards or kites I just need a company or product that I can rebrand. So far I have -Pansh -Eolo Cheers Quote
Dubs Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Pansh and EOLO have never been in favour... 'Design Extreme' Stopped doing custom boards but never grew out of favour so you could do them.. Or you could rebrand a crap landboard company like 'exit' or 'mindless' etc Quote
Afro1599968737 Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 bad idea... kites & boards are in favour (or not) according to performance, not graphics... a pansh with flowers, skulls & rainbows plastered all over it is still going to be a cheap kite, with the associated stigma Quote
Dubs Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 I see what you mean Afro, But it might be a Brand redesign that comes about with the improvement of products and entering into new markets... Eg If Pansh All of a suddenly came out with an amazing new line of water kites that everyone loved- might take the opportunity to change the brand image along with their new found greatness... Quote

thisisnatty Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Orrrrr...... hows about taking PKD, a company usually more associated with buggy race kites, and re-branding to include the landboard market.... Quote
KiteKim Posted December 17, 2010 Author Report Posted December 17, 2010 That's a good thought. I might do that one since I have a PKD Kite. Quote
