Im not gonna even describe it on here as its pretty bloody awful but it'll no doubt be picked up by the papers and worlds press in the next 48 hours.

Well it seems that 4chan have already found out the identity of the shithouse in the video and have already begun to bombard her facebook with grief.

Good on then (4chan) for once!!

That's fucked up. Hope someone throws that bitch in the river to see how she likes it. Maybe tied to a concrete block for good measure?

it wouldn't surprise me if 15 years ago it was people tied to concrete blocks that were getting thrown in that river. as bad as this is its worth remembering that there are much worse things out there that people don't get half as upset about

As much as I hate that kind of thing, it's worth remembering that countless animals are killed in Britain, victims of the 'pet' trade. Then theres the issue of factory farming....how many of the people outraged by this video eat meat, eggs, drink milk, wear leather? How well do you reckon the animals who provide these products are treated? From what I've read it appears the video was made in Bosnia, considering the way human beings have been treated there in recent times its not altogether surprising that animal welfare is not a high priority for some Bosnians.

^^ I agree ^^

In fact, I looked it up and found out that the humane society estimates 4 - 6 million dogs and cats are gassed in shelters every year. That's a heck of a lot more cruelty than one dopey chick throwing some puppies in a river, it's more like organized cruelty on a massive scale. Save your hatred for the people responsible for that. Who would that be? I don't know....who is responsible for the huge numbers of unwanted dogs and cats in this world? My guess would be the exact same type of "animal lovers" who are complaining about how wrong this video is! It's so hypocritical for pet owners to moan about something like this when it is exactly their desire (and collective irresponsibility) that is directly responsible for even more cruelty on a much larger scale.

I like dogs individually and I am sure that I would probably like to have one, but I don't, and her's why. Collectively, I really dislike all the dogs that people own, at least in London. Just in the last month, there has been one kid who lost their eye from an infection from dog crap in the playground, one kid and one adult spectacularly savaged by random dogs in public. In the USA, 1000 people a day end up in A& E from dog bites, I don't know the number for the UK but I am sure it is comparable. Also, they piss all over my kite and leave turds all over my park. Society needs to put a lot more pressure on dog owners to take responsibility for their actions.

I think you will find that the greed of puppy and kitten farmers is rather more responsible for the unwanted dogs that you describe than the desires of pet owners.

Personally, I've never bought a dog from anyone, I tried once, but the bloke wouldn't let me give him any money for Marbles, my Lurcher.....Apparently he was just glad that Marbles was going to a proper good home. Marbles ain't no ordinary mutt either, he's from racing stock and is faster and turns quicker than anyone who doesn't own a Lurcher can even imagine. Funnily enough he doesn't chase kites or piss on kite bags either and I always pick up what he doesn't hide in the depths of the undergrowth.

I guess this is because I'm a responsible dog owner; I've always taken a great deal of care to ensure that my dogs are properly trained and socialised so that they are never a threat or a nuisance to anyone or anything (except perhaps rabbits).

So tell me again then, how my love for dogs in some way justifies the disgraceful acts that we see in the videos linked to above.....I'm all ears.

Like I said, I like dogs on an individual level. I would like to play with Marbles myself. Every dog owner will tell you how responsible they are, probably even the owner of the two rottweilers that pulled ten-year-old Rhianna Kidd off her bicycle and savaged her so severely that she needed three hours of surgery. The unfortunate truth of the matter is that collectively, they aren't responsible at all.

As for how responsible you personally are for the 4 -6 million pets put to sleep each year, I don't know. Somebody is, and it isn't me. Puppy and kitten farmers have to be getting money from somewhere or they wouldn't exist.

I'd love to see some sort of test of ability applied to dog owners.....I've had my kites and kite-bags pissed on too you know. Marbles accompanies me almost everywhere, but if I'm going kiting I like to check that it's OK first (some kiters have problems with dogs it seems).

I was night flying on sunday (with Marbles 'in tow') and some fuckwit let a seriously aggressive American Akita off the lead in almost pitch darkness (I'm guessing that they only walk it at night because it's psychotic and they can't handle it, but they are too embarrassed to let the world see that thay are incapable of handling the dog that they chose). It immediately tried to savage Marbles, who dodged and gleefully ran rings around it, so I had to tell it (and it's owner) to fuck off.....I must admit that I really didn't relish confronting an Akita (or the sort of dickhead that lets an aggressive one off the lead in a public park at night) and I felt obliged to arm myself with a metal kite-stake!

Don't take this as a tirade against Akitas either, one of Marbles' bestest mates is a Japanese Akita called Kowashii who is the most chilled out dog you could ever hope to meet and guess what.....His owner is a kiter.

One question though.....Why are you trying to find negatives in ordinary dog owners when confronted by overt cruelty of this kind? It strikes me as slightly perverse to be honest.

Just struck by the irony of all the people getting excited by these 6 or 7 puppies being killed while ignoring the 4 million animals being gassed each year. I'd be willing to bet that half the people threatening to kill this girl have neglected to spay or nueter thier animals and are directly contributing to this number.

I am being negative about ordinary dog owners in that they need to be more responsible for thier actions. As you pointed out, there should be ability tests for dow owners, as well as financial methods to force them to be more responsible. I would like to see dog owners required to manitain public liability insurance just like car owners, and I would like this insurance to be exorbitantly expensive for those who have not spayed or nuetered thier dogs. I feel this way becuase I do care about all those animals that are gassed each year. I also care about 10 year old girls on bikes. (but not in THAT way)
