Blade1990 Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Anyone going up today? Wind sounds pretty gusty outside my window at the mo, I'm guessin it'll be pretty savage up at cleeve, the weather station is saying ~25-30 mph winds. Smallest kite I have is a 4.9 Blade 4..........should be fun! .......! Quote

Blade1990 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 If anyone finds a Ben Sherman wallet up on Cleeve could they please let me know, it's black with red white and blue threads to the bottom right, it has a very important card in it that I require for work, I would be extremely grateful to anyone who finds it! Lost it sometime yesterday and I have a suspicion it may be somewhere on Cleeve hill, I'll probably be up there later (flying a 4.9 Blade 4) if anyone spots it, Cheers, Kieran Quote
Blade1990 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Wallet located, thanks ever so much to Dell for finding and hanging onto it, saved me a hell of a lot of hassle! Another great session up on Cleeve, unfortunately couldn't stay long because my arms began to give in after about an hour and a half! Cheers to Andy for all the help setting up! Bring on next weekend! Kieran Quote
flylite56 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 well the wind was a bit harsh for me today with being new to boarding but all good fun and got some nice bruises and once again it was cool to see so many foils up... big shout to all the worcs crew and rhys tom and craig was entertaining to watch you guys phil.... Quote
skipperoo Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Blowing too much of a hooly for my foil to make an appearance today but was great to see everybody up there, some fantastic entertainment courtesy of squareheads lift on the twister :-) Quote
rhys cowe Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Epic session today! Towards the end, I was getting 5 seconds hang time off the lip, (don't tell the ranger...... shhhhh...) Great to see everyone up there. Sorry about my nearly catastrophic dismount! See you all up there very soon. Quote
operationblade2 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Epic session it was lads. First go on me new buggy was immense. Soooo much fun! There was so many kites up today, was impressive. Had a quickie on me Venom 13, was scary lol or as squarehead put it, ur mad lol. See u up there again guys. Cheers, Tom Quote
mikeymustard Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 yep good times, nice to meet all the worcester crew. Despite the large amounts of alcohol and ibuprofen I'm still hurting a bit! Very diff not to overdo it in that fab wind tho Quote
Squarehead666 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Really great to meet everyone again or for the first time today.....Hopefully have some of the photos from Ian uploaded here before too long. I got spanked so bad today Max Mosely would have been proud.....First my Bego 200 had me, then the 400, then Dell's 3m Twister II, but I was grinning like an idiot throughout and have been ever since (although a bit of grimacing has taken place now the adrenaline's worn off). Sorry to Rhys for the attempted amputation below the knee! Fair play to Kieran for getting that Blade out (saw you hurtling down the field while we were loading the car).....Mine never even made it out of the car! All the best Andy S. Quote
Guest Nathaniel Marc Fuller Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Was a wkd sesh with the worcester kite Monkies, gregg, rhys, mike and loads of others that i cant name. Got some good jumps, but gotta work on the landings. Quote
downbubble Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 Sunday was stonking good fun! Great to see everyone up there again and meeting all the others I'd not met before Best laugh had to be Andy (Squarehead) getting yanked up into the sky by my 3m Twister! Huge air that was a little unexpected I think! lol I used that kite all day on my board and it really shifted, but nowhere near as quick as Tom with his Frenzy! Keiran, it was Kyle that found your wallet mate, I can't take credit for that Talking of finding stuff, Wayne lost his gold watch up there so if anyone found it please drop me a line! Quote
Squarehead666 Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 Huge air that was a little unexpected I think! Not 'arf! I'm used to doing small jumps with my 3m Blade III when it's blowing a bit, but that little Twister was really going for it.....I may have hooned it just it a little more than was strictly neccessary under the circumstances I suppose, but sometimes you just gotta! All the best Andy S. PS - I've got Ian's pics uploaded to another PC.....Will be posting them here and in the WKM section. Quote
flylite56 Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 yep andy that was a cool but VIOLENT lift that twister dealt you gotta admit i enjoyed watching that, it made a change to see it instead of feeling it cos my lil beamer 3 seemed to be powered by the devil and kept beating the crap out of me ... see ya soon .. phil Quote
