Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but it's a bit bright, and the font is hard to read... Seriously, not sure what's possible, but can it go down a couple of shades and use a heavier font? I've noticed I'm craning my neck towards the screen and squinting like a coffin dodger. Quote

Now I've tilted my screen ( so it looks like the opening credits on starwars) I can see there is a slight difference in shading on thread topics it doesn't look too bad, though a bit more contrast would be nice How do I know ( apart from remembering) which thread I have a post in? What's the point of the red lines? The next button doesn't work on multiple page threads. Why is it when I post a one liner, there is a big gap underneath like I've spacebarred 2 paragraphs? It's not hard, you'd all be honestly surprised how 'off' your screens probably are! For the record, I like this new theme. It's NOT too bright, the fonts are easy enough to read. Only gripe is the New Posts bit, the spacing between threads is a bit funny, I liked it before when it was a list of threads with their titles - no preview like there is now. Good job, Neil Quote

Crispy Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I'm struggling to read lots of the text on the forum - a combination of the high contrast between the light background and dark text and the very small fontsizes in use is killing my eyes. I'm using a 15.4" 1650 x 1050 laptop screen and a 26" 1920 x 1200 monitor so it could be my choice of screens but I've never had a problem on any other websites. I'll be needing reading glasses soon!
