rasga Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 For those saying 'why'. We had to upgrade from a 3. to a 4. version - for performance reasons. The 3. style is totally incompatible with v4 - due to how the software providers have built the forum. It had to be redesigned from the ground up in design, it's an iterative process. Between the 0.0.3Beta and the 0.1 Production - the theme designed totally fell apart. Hence we are running an earlier iteration, whilst we iron out the known bugs re: oddtext sizing in some areas, and many other bits that are on a snagging list. There are other known issues to be resolved. We've been working with this in our 3 development areas for quite a while, but as with anything, on the production it doesn't roll smoothly. Quote
DIEM Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Have to agree is very bright on hung over eyes.. Quote

louisemarson Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Gawd! Stop complaining! Ok, it's a litle bright but you still have a FREE working forum where you have freedom of speech, aren't censored for posting about another kite and where you can swear if you so wish. Everyone complained when it was changed to the dark scheme all those years ago. Get over it and get kiting!!! Quote
beth1974uk Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 GO LOUISE!!!!! Rah rah rah!!! (that was my little cheerleading cheer eh Zimmer ) Quote

tsp13 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I like it, I think it looks crisp and fresh and I think it is a big improvment on the old look. Just one tiny snag..... http://i702.photobucket.com/albums/ww28/plester300/linecopy.jpg there is a kink in that line, not too much of a problem. But I think I have a bit of O.C.D. going on. lol Edit - oh and pictures dont scale down to fit like they use to. But overall it looks good. Quote
Maddog-Pete1599968700 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I think you might call it a stepped line mate. I think it was planned aswell. It gets thicker by your name to. Other than the colour scheme being to bright. (the grey border would be better than white) can we have the thread list so that the titles stand out more. Its harder to read that classified ads in the paper. Quote
Ped Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Woa!!!! So much for come back Sunday eh!!! Little bit bright for me, my eyes were starting to sting there but hopefully there will be a darker option available further down the line:D Loving the fact the post counts back up....... Ped:D Quote

spiky_dave Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Good work on the site, i prefer it Do agree with the light on dark though - too much time coding at the moment and it does make a difference.... BUT.... If you have firefox, just download a plugin called 'invertColours' - you can set it to do just one site, ie this one. See, you don't have to moan, you can just find a solution Quote
eeyore Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 What Miss says! what he.. and she said (even tho its not quoted her...) oh neil will there be a mobile one? Quote
