brassneck Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 (edited) just a question about tiree, can you just pitch a tent? just a thought as i have heard that some people are trying to stop it happening, not sure though lookin like I will be one of 'bigbud's gang on tiree... camping.. this site Isle of Tiree Community Web Site - History & Heritage - The Sea. says its ok to camp anywhere (scotish right to roam law I believe), but only up to 3 nights.. not that I would think it really matters on tiree, it dont exactly look busy official campsite (the only one on tiree) BALINOE CAMPSITE - Wild Diamond £8 a night, water, toilets, showers,kettle, microwave so, somewhere to make a brew and food / dry out. all depends on how tuff / dedicated? yer are and how many days you want to dig holes in the ground:D who else is going? where yer stayin / campin edit.... justread the above website... and it says no diggin holes... crap must be bagged and binned... .......nice... .... and before one of you cynical lot post up... this is not a Bow kite v C kite comment !!!) The crofters on Tiree are a bit peeved about people driving all over their land so it's best to be sensible and ask if you're not sure. Around Gott bay is fine but in other areas you might upset people.... Quote

Can someone let nick know if it sounds like it might be his. It's been handed in at the boat club or whatever it is near the ramp at star gate. Quote
