Had my weekly swimming lesson today after school and after just passing my test on tuesday i drove there and parked. Went into the pool had my swim came out and found my bag somewhere that i didnt leave it. I got dressed and found that my car key and house key had gone. The panic started as i tried to find the offending object until it got to the stage that i asked reception if someone had handed the key in if it fell out of my bag. They replied no and i ended up going through the whole were was the bag anything else gone etc. What gets me is the fact someone has gone through my stuff while i left it in the changing room granted not in a locker but even so. The weird thing is my wallet was also in my bad but that didnt disappear but the car key did  just had to have a short rant :p

Amen! And also a time where the 'c word' is more then appropriate. I've had enough shit nicked in the past (and i'm careful with my stuff) to know that if i ever found out who stole from me they would be making friends with my 16oz Stanley anti-vibe!

That sux man.

I know someone who has had all his work tools stolen when they took his van. Not only did they rob him of his gear they made it impossible for him to go to work and try and replace the stolen items

Agreed they all are thieving cnuts!

Its one of them times where I can understand thieving to survive but to thieve and prevent a man from working totally sux. The perpetrators deserve all that karma will bring them imo!

Hope you made claim for the gear guys and get the payout to replace said items.

I'll hope there is nothing in your bag that gives the perpetrator any idea of where you live, address plus keys = uninsured burglary as you know they have the keys, same with the car, never ever leave stuff unattended the smallest thing is an opportunity to a thief, if you had any cards in it cancel them the details could be used online or gain fraudulent id!?

Erm ... You could have used a locker and put your keys in it like most people. So why did you leave them at the poolside?

If your car was taken using your key and the key was not locked away, your insurance company would have laughed their heads off, as they don't have to pay out if you do that.

Sorry but I haven't got enough spare cash to take risks like that for the sake of 20p or whatever your lockers cost. If there are no lockers, get a waterproof container and wear it around your neck.
