Yeah me too, had it for weeks....started work on my new buggy now so trying to keep myself busy.

Martin...you can forget selling up....are we doing Wallop or the Ho meet????, we need to book one way or the other

I have not been kiting for months now.....come to think about it, I have not worked for months either....and the outlook is grim, I think the only way I will get anything half decent is knowing someone, but I have exhausted all my avenues...its a real struggle not to feel fed up

Sunday looking best now - if as forecast I am going for 12 ish. The tide won't go out till later but it isn't a high tide so should be ok if the wind is straight off the sea. May need a big kite though !

Hopefully enough wind for a steady cruise to Skeg and back

You comin Carl?

Wohoo, this looks a bit different! Just checking in, haven't been on for a while. Still got all the kite gear but it's not been out lately - missing it though so just need an opportunity. Vanessa's MS attack seems to be over so she's (relatively) mobile again and getting out and about on her scooter, kids are fine etc...nowt else going on, see you soon.

23 miles covered today - once the tide was down a bit I headed south for eight and a half miles - just past Anderby Creek. Turned round and couldn't make 100 yards north.

NO WIND - panic started to set in after 10 or 15 mins. Coulld this finally be the 3hour walk of shame back to MABLE NORTH END. I have always had this dread that one day it has to happen.

A bit of wind came back and I crawled along for the first mile at about 3 or 4 mph and then the wind died again.

After 10 mins it started again slowly and then gradually picked up - boy did 17 mph feel good. The miles clicked by and I was back for 4.30.

Bit of a nerve rack and I would defo still be there now walking if the wind had disappeared.

It felt good to be out there again though and I have to say that the beach is in great shape.

Chris good to hear that things are looking up a bit - hope to see you flying a kite soon
