Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all...

...I'm still around but haven't been flying since May, knee injury proved worse than first thought and is taking forever to fix (it's an age thing). Vanessa's MS is going through a remissive phase at the moment as well so what with that and work commitments :(

In the meantime I've got back into mountain bikes coz it's good physio apparently and have bought myself a decent Trek hardtail, my lads got himself one as well so kiting's on the back-burner. I'm getting the urge again though so I'll deffo be Mable bound sooner or later.

BTW Atavar, how's Lincoln Uni going? (my daughter loves it :D)

Its astounding, thanks for asking :) quite simply the best desision i've ever made and i'm getting some decent results in my assignments so i really can't complain at all. Living there was a great idea, too, there are a couple of people in my group who commute and they totally hate not being part of the place.

Hope you mend fast mate, its rubbish when you can't do what you love but its good to hear you have found something else to keep you active.

Bad luck with the knee Chris - you'll get there. Hope to see you on the beach before too long. We're a bit thin on the ground now !!

Best Wishes to Vanessa too

Had a great morning - spent first half hour discovering that there was too much wind for 10.5 bomba so switched to 460 arc and turned round to find that Kevin from Boston had arrived - good to see him again after a long time away.

After he had swapped over to a 3.5 bullet we decided to head south and went about 8 miles down to Anderby Creek and then back again with the south east wind behind us - topped out at 41.7 and did about 28 miles in total. Kevin was staying for another hour when I left.

Exhilarating morning - wind was around 21 to 27 and wind chill temperature was reading -4 on my present from Santa. :D
