Brady1599968816 Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Anyone in Lincoln City flying this weekend, in Lincoln? I know Mabo's only 40 odd miles away but it's easier to go flying/scudding on a playing field. Anyone know anywhere in and closely around Lincoln that's good for this? Need a good open field but most of those are farmers'. West Common is alright but not great wind because of houses and trees around. Anyone around Swinderby / Witham St Hughs / Bassingham area? HOUSE Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 well done Matt, with the 68.1mph, fastest sand buggier on the planet That's an incredible speed - fantastic achievement Matt. Wind must have been howling to get up to that ! Well I might have to go along and see if there's any wind on the beach on Sunday. Either that or wait for the job-list from wifey......... No contest really Anyone else going to the beach? That is if there is anyone out there - thread seems really quiet these days. Quote

luffy m Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 Well after my first ever buggy sortie on my new buggy (Philpig's old buggy) I'm completely hooked and can't wait to go again. I went to Redcar last weekend and loved it. I didn't exactly go for miles and didn't break any speed records but had a whale of a time and really lookng forward to going again. looking at xc weather it seems that mablethorpe will be the best spot on sunday so I'm hoping to take a trip down. If you see me struggling along then feel free to say hi, big fella flying flow's. Equally, if you see me doing something daft or something that is likely going to end up with me going for a swim then plese feel free to tell me I am doing it wrong. All advice greatfully taken onboard Where in your opinion would be a good place to start out from around there on sunday? Does anyone have any advice? cheers luffy Quote
playaviation Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 Been a long time but i'm lookin for a Buggy (should've kept mine !) any out there Quote
