mick Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 Gosh I'm tempted ^^^^ I Haven't looked but I'll look later. Got to have a word with my mate for a bit of fuel sharing. I just bought a new kite so I is skint. . Hey Gary, do you go to Stopsley at all these days. I'm trying to meet up with some London mates and Luton's about central. Quote
tobias Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 I'm tempted too. Was going to go to hunny but Mick, you've told me in the past that mable is better. Quote
mick Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 Depends what you're doing Tobi. Buggy or board Maybo but KS deffo Hunny. You have a nice long run at Maybo and the likelyhood of drowning at Hunny. BUT Maybo really if it mainly easterly. Anything west is offshore I think. Quote
tobias Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 Landboarding Mick, not braving the water yet! Quote

mick Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 Landboarding Mick, not braving the water yet! Man up Tobe. Mind its too cold for me at the mo. Hey in the Summer it'll be good at Hunny. Real good crowd. Quote
tobias Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 It's mainly because I've got a terrible habit of taking on lots of things and not giving them the attention they need...so decided to stay on land until I consider myself to be good...then I'll buy a proper beginners board and go from there Quote

tobias Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Anyone like to confirm I've got the tides right?? Yep, tides are right. UTC is basically GMT, so as we're on BST you need to add one hour to the times provided on the website. Quote
Robocourier Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 ................ for leaving me with the whole beach to play on today. Epic session, I've just got home. Quote
Robocourier Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Stopped at noon. Just as the tide was going out. Got started at 1. Crawled off at 7. Spent. With a new pb of *fanfare* 50.5mph on a 4m Access and 82.4 miles covered. It was a blur. Quote

Gutted I had to work all day and hoped to be there for 6.30 but last job went on too long Quote
Robocourier Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 Popeye came down for a couple of hours in the afternoon and said you'd be there around half six. But by then it was getting gusty and my arms and legs were like lead! I'd only reached mid forties when Carl was there but he came past me as if I was parked. He was so fast! My Flexi was shaking itself to bits!! I need to get my speed posted on the scoreboard. :) Quote
jason22 Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 I'm tempted too. Was going to go to hunny but Mick, you've told me in the past that mable is better. Hi Tobias Mable is a top spot for buggys and boarders. Only takes me around 1hr 20mins. Quote
Robocourier Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 Oh, and the beach yesterday was perfect. Crater free 5 mile loop. Never seen it as good as that. Quote
tobias Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 Hi Tobias Mable is a top spot for buggys and boarders. Only takes me around 1hr 20mins. Is that from Peterborough? I did hunny yesterday in the end, had to get back for a meal at 6. Def want to try mable soon, sounds great...in contrast I hit a few big bumps and went through a small lagoon and got soaked! Quote

I stayed here and got soaked by the constant rain. Well done on the PB Gary. Certainly moving eh? Quote
