Noo Noo Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Couldnt make Saturday in the end as I had other requests, that was the other reason I was uncertain. D Any Frank Sinatra in there? Quote
snap1 Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 After all this time, last night I found out that my Naish bar has an attachment for below the bar safety on the front lines :-) spinning system here we come! Though the leash is now dragging which is very annoying on land. Quote
Spudley Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Ok guys, just checked tommorrows forecast, looking good around lunchtime and midday low tides. Work tonight but seems too good to miss. Red bull session for me i reckon. Anyone else around and up for it? Quote

Spudley Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 ok sounds good to me NN was thinking Hillhead but quite happy to go Hayling if thats where your headed. Anyone else? Quote
snap1 Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 :-( would love to guys but not on the early shift otherwise would have popped down later afternoon. I can see NooNoo is seriously trying to get as many sessions as he can in this year which is spot on, exactly what I plan to do. I am getting fed-up of getting a session then waiting months to get another one, aim is for quantity and if quality comes GREAT. Not getting of to a great start, Sat I can't do as taking Jens to a party midday, but will be getting a sneaky land session in before. DM been out to crabtree since your return? Quote
mark o Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Anyone up for a session tomorrow? I'm on vacation now hence looking to get out. Quote

mark o Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 I've just created a group on facebook for us, thinking behind this is that we all visit facebook more regularly than we do this forum. If you pm me your facebook name i'll send an invite out to you. Quote
Spudley Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Renewals are due for Hayling this week. Been talking it over with Mark and wanted to see what everyones thoughts are on the venue and what you intend doing this year? I like Hayling but theres quite a few negatives too..:parking charges,no sailing at high tide, car parked so far from launch, busy, some attitude issues. For t...he hours travel time there are a lot of alternatives available to us one being calshot which although slightly more expensive offers free parking, showers, works any tide and a northerly option in the winter, on-site kiteshop. So what you all think? Quote
DjMoz Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Posted April 1, 2010 Interesting proposal Spuds. My thinking is that I only ever make it to hayling a handful of times a year but occasionaly it is worth it. I will probably join again just to keep membership. Any other thoughts? Quote

I will probably join again just to keep membership. Any other thoughts? Same I think. Although my evening session madness has given me some decent rides doen there. Anyway I just tried to rejoin and what a surprise the technology failed. IT WEEKEND. I thinking of a couple of dawn raids before i shoot up to North Wales to collect the van bits I need for the latest incarnation of the van internals. I've got to get this done, but the wind forecast is so much better down here this weekend. Quote
Lewy01256 Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 Hey lads, I see there hasn't been a post on here in ages but its worth a shot! I was wondering if there's anyone around that goes up Crabtree or anywhere else around the Basingstoke area? I'm in desperate need of Kiteing buddys! Cheers, Callum Quote
snap1 Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Hi Callum, A few of us still get up there, through the wind has not been great for it recently! We kitesurf as well so if conditions are good were usually at the coast. Spudley gets up there a bit and I intend to when we get the weather, have a new Trampa board with very little use to get going on. There is a group on facebook where we all post now, Basingstoke Kiters. Paul Quote
Lewy01256 Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Ah cool mate, yeah I know! Got my Frenzy last Sunday and that's the only day I have been able to get out there! Either Rain or no wind! I have tried to join the group on facebook and just need you guys to confirm me now The name is Callum Lewington. Ah cool, well be sure to throw me a message if you know of anyone heading up there or your doing so yourself, I think I could do with a guiding hand with all this new Depower and landboard stuff! I'm trying my best on my own but nothing beats watching someone else show you Cheers mate, Callum Quote
