Provided you walk about 100 or so metres down the beach past the white stone to set up its fine to kite surf there all year round. Just remember to be curtious to the surfers and stay away from where they are catching the wave (north end of the beach).

Spud, got a North Evo 12m not flown it yet thou' so no idea what its like. Heading off to Cape Verde in May so fingers crossed it gets a fly prior to that.

DM, sounds like you are having a great time. Where are the pictures?!? Sold my Ozone's to a fella that lives just one junction up the M3 who's looking to get on the water so we may have added company sometime.

Great condition 8m and 12m Ozone Light XC kites, includes bar/lines, bags, manuals, pump and repair packs. Purchased in March/April 2009 both kites have been used but taken good care of. Fantastic kites that will meet the expectations of all but the most advanced rider. Only reason for selling is that as a heavier rider (85kg+) I should have purchased a 14/10m combination which is exactly what I now plan to do. Both kites are in fantastic condition with both having just one pin-hole in the same place caused by one dizzy blonde who landed both my kites and proceeded to thrown some beach shells onto them. As a result both kites have a small black patch in exactly the same place. Asides from this kites/bar/bags are all immaculate. £900 + postage, available for local collection around Reading/Basingstoke area. PM for any other enquiries. hi, if you want an Ozone LEI with low end grunt under 15knots whilst using a TT I'd recommend the Zephyr. Ozone's are great kites but for us heavier riders lack low end grunt unless you ride a directional.

Looking at the metoffice they are forecasting sunday as westerly 17-20mph with gusts up to the 30s. Might turn out to a michael fish forecast thou'.

Freezer session is fine, like Spud I'm all kitted out to handle these temperatures. At least for a short duration. Saturday is looking nice with westerly's and Sunday is also looking good but with sunshine forecast.

I'd be available definitely, any evening this week. Wind looks to be perhaps up for something on Sat/Sun if we are lucky so perhaps we could combine a coast trip with some food?

They are Light XC's. Next time we are at the coast you can have a try.

Jeez, price. I had not really thought about that. Looking around at the moment there are some pretty good discounts available meaning you could get the pair new for as low as £1151. Guess as both of mine are in good condition other than the black patch over the pin hole the stupid girl at hayling caused when she landed them.... do not get me started on this topic! I digress, I reckon around £850 for the pair.
