avspider Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 C word??? I need to test the buggy and Hudsons is the best buggy area locally, as soon i'll be speaking to Min about a minor adjustment ;-) Quote
Fat Bloke Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Martin if you like them wobbley (!!!!!) you may struggle with the Revos. Ideally you'll need the softest rubbers and possible have to shave them down a little. Additionally they are very fussy re deck angles I initially had them on a 35 deg deck. Not good - ask Gonzo. That said when right they hold sooo much power :-) Be very careful doing the bolts - tis possible to warp the units if you don't tourque them properly. Once set up totally bombproof. Enjoy :-) Quote
g0nz01599968659 Posted February 20, 2009 Author Report Posted February 20, 2009 lol- yeah like my no snow with the hard rubbers.... not turning=faceplant! Good once sorted though. You wont kill those in a hurry. AV- I may join you at tfwtp tomoz, although it does looka bit light:rolleyes: like 8mph?? Can I borrow the 10 & jump off the steep slope?? I'll pack my 17 fuel. martin Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 "C" word = Cider;). Not sure if i'm going to travel to Hudsons, there's no wind. I've still got to adjust my trucks & bindings. Might go up to PDH later. Quote
avspider Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 We had a really nice session at Hudsons today, light wind, but i was on teh 10, bigdaddy the 10.5, and rich on teh 600 bego. Tips from today, tighten wheel nuts. Don't drop your kite down on a rugby post - esp not throught he bridles! Quote

avspider Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 Looking for someone to do some welding job to my buggy. It's like 15mins job I think. Can someone help? THX What sort of buggy is it? Is it S/S? and what have you done to cause it needing it to be welded? I maybe going to Hudsons (Salisbury) for a fly sat am if you fancy coming? Quote

avspider Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 Buggy sorted now. Is that Hudson's field in Salisbury? Thats the one, I'll be there I believe rich (upinsmoke) is coming for about 10am. Maybe Martin too (both of them?) As the footy starts early afternoon when we pack up and head across the road for a pint. It can be a bit direction specific - but it's looking good Quote
martin Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 Don't think i'm going to travel to Salisbury for wind in single figures, better of staying by the coast. If it picks up a bit i'll tag along. Quote
avspider Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 If anybody wants to come, more than welcome to use any of the RM's with the light wind. The football normally starts early afternoon Quote
T595 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 The good lady has said i can come over and if the wind is anything like this morning (it's blowing a gale outside here in Raaamsay) it's gonna be a lot fun YIPPEE!! Quote
Big Daddy Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Just got up and it isn't looking very good here. S 6-8, no more Quote
