krazykarl Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 Hi fellers chris. s is in a stable condition in ST ASAPH A&E he has had his tibbia pinned and ankle put back in socket but also suffering ffrom a damaged tenndon & ligament ....... He should be home by weekend i will keep u all in formed .. We not sure if it broke on exiting his buggy but it was out of socket on way up then he was slammed back down landing again on it but he said it was painless ... must have been the scotch in his tea lol. Now ive no partner to kite with or travel to the beach with and i will not fly on my own so i'm waitin for some offers to join u guys or let me kno when yor out so can come to u am available sundays ..... Could do with a trip to BRS before it closes keep me informed fellers plz .... Quote

COnsidering that it was only his 2nd go on a board and only his 5th go on a kite he was doing brilliant. He was up and down the beach both directions without falling off once from wat I saw. Winds were nice although as Gixer says it was fecking cold....hands above the heart and all that. Was nice to havce a land session instead of water for once although you dont have to pack up your gear when a bearing breaks on the water. That was seriously annoying............may have to give it a go today as well now though..... Hmmmmm BRS,,,,,not been there in over 2 years now.......thinks it is time ot revisit but can I get a green ticket...watch this space....lol.... Quote
