Hi
Anyone been to the Movenpick in El Gouna to kite, thinking of going mid July low tide is about midday, can't really find much about wind stats at this time of year..... Any comments thoughts????
Hi there,
Me and the family have a caravan booked for next week at Pendine sands, we will be taking water and land kites, hoping for some wind.
Would like to know any local knowledge, do and don't, wouldn't want to upset the locals, if you are able to drive onto the beach, and you see a blue transported please come over and say hi.
I'm heading out to feurteventura end of April begining of May been there a couple of times, good kiting spots, nice beaches. Depending on we're you go the towns are the normal, bars, cafes, shops, not to touristy tho, you would need a car to get around. Cheap flights, not to far 4hr flight from MAN.
Thinking of up grading my bandit 4 bar as I have no confidence/ don't like the Velcro release toggle thing.
I'm looking at a 2010 north 5th element bar but unsure if this would suit my four line set up.
Would I be able to remove the 5th line and still be able to use it with my bandit 4, if so could some one explain how this is done.
As my kiting is progressing I'm more and more consurned about being able to ditch the kite if anything were to happen. So safety here is the main thing.
I'm also looking at a mutany bar if anyone knows any thing about those beasties.
Been thinking the same myself, really hard to learn kite ing on surf board specially in the chop of uk waters, I'm trying to find out if I can insert threaded blocks into my board for straps to begin with then once jibing and confidence is up take the straps off. My only issue really is how to seal the board once the blocks are in.
