SandMonster Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Thought I'd try for first to fly again , set off it was -2* arrived Nova 7.30am 0* tide rushing in hardly any wind so got onto beach and launched but not enough to buggy same happened last year. We use to get 2 buggys 2 boards and every kite we owned into a Saxo! But a van makes it soo much easier! Quote

I struggle to get everything in my Galaxy ...but then I do tend to pack everything but the kitchen sink and as I'm approaching wrinkly status (no jokes please:rolleyes:) my buggy is more like an arm chair:o Been ages since I/we hit the beach. thisisnatty Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 still at home right now and it's debatable whether or not i'll get on the roads today yet. snow's terrible here. however... if i do make it, the buggy's waiting for collection so i can go get it tonight, otherwise it'll have to be landboarding. (the seat harness i ordered to my Bangor address wont have been received by anyone, so a buggy wont be much use yet anyways. ) was thinking the same- roads to llanddona/ligwy.... i can make nova... if i dont get lost Quote

thisisnatty Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 the delivery man left the harness parcel with they house next door. only they're not too good at english and cant understand the word 'parcel' or 'delivery' so asking for it back was, erm, interesting.... will try them again in the morning. might have to fly the Pepper for once. anyways, got to head out 2moro and cant think of anywhere better who's worked out the tides and that ? oh yeh, and got my Dos to try for the first time. Sat in a Bansko lobby waiting for our transfer to the airport. mildly successful holiday! got 4 days of good riding with shit snow conditions and looooong lift queues. i also lost my phone. but no worries!! looking forward to hitting the beaches when i get back.
