cheers guys.

BRS was busy, but almost perfect for the buggy. Best day of the year so far for me, but think the hangtime crowd wanted just a bit more.

funnest thing was seeing the guy towing 5 buggies behind his buggy:eek:

I'm tired now:o

night night;):D

Yup, another great day out with the Phantom down at Rhosneigr.

@ Kaz, Rhossy was a pretty good sesh to be fair, although i did smash another bearing case on my board so it could mean im out of action for a lil while til i can eitheer buy or scav some spares.

Also learnt & nailed new tricks, so now i have a plethora of skills in my bag!

Got foot outs sorted and 360 board grabs coming on cleanly.

Conditions could have been beetter though as the winds did get a bit stupid at one point eespecially for Dave flying the 16m Venom

Cheeers to Chris and Marie who joined us as well, nice to see you guys out and about again :D

All in all a great weekend of flying fun.

Everyone have fun @ BRS?

It was a fun day, windfinder said a max of 17 but it was 28 jumping to around 34/35. We had some insane jump there, beach was a bit rippley but we all had fun until we both smashed our bearings :( Chris, Marie & Dan joined us for a bit of fun as well, what was really good to catch up as well. The wind was that much that joy used the 1.7 on the board & did well.

happy birthday pual hope you had a good day!!

Yes thanks. Best of the yr in the bug, although it could have ended on a sour note. Wifey was helping dismantle the buggy and she cross-threaded a bolt:rolleyes: Nothing would shift it and no hacksaw to hand (gone 6 by now so beach virtually empty). Karen/Andy had only just left. Had to strip front end down and could just get axle plus siderails in.

Then came to the start car and battery flat:eek: Probably my fault for leaving tailgate up all day, but wifey had her DS plugged in as well, so I'm blaming her ;) Managed to bump start it, but pushing a galaxy full of kite kit (and wife) wasn't the best end to my day. Smile about it now though ....when my back's not in spasm that is;):D

Took some miscellaneous video footage of a few peeps, whcih I'll edit down when I get chance.

Not sure when we'll all get out again now, but lighter evenings has got to be a good thing.

Aww no, you shuda called us!! Next time ...if there is one! :)

Took some footage myself, you looked happy as larry once you started cruising Plezzy, unfortunately most of it is blurred by the direct sunlight! I had 13m issues, I always have 13m issues, if it's not the 9 it's too heavy!! Really need to learn to fly something else!

Whoever was on the black kite next to us - very impressed indeedy! Afro, that's one hell of a do to be proud of :) Sorry if I kept getting in your way! You're a bit super good too!

Sid/Dave - inverts next! The pair of you have such consistent height & hang time now, just push them legs up! :)

Trying to get to grips with the board but it still scares me - just wait till my own is built

Rhyl Kite club this sunday 2pm I believe ;)

That sucks, glad you managed to get home safely.

Really glad we managed to get out at BRS not the best wind but it was still good. Dirtsurfing the whole beach was fun and getting a couple of jumps in too!

I'm going to be on the sidelines too for the next few weeks as I've got my second op on friday, been bumped up the waiting list so should be totally fixed in time for Atmosphere, so no more cruising :D

Got flexi bug just sat in the garage if you need your buggy fix Paul just give me a shout!

Any one else hear about x2 kite surfers getting into difficulties in the estuary at Red Warf on Saturday, sounds like one pulled the safety and said goodbye to their kite as it blew across the bay and out to sea.

Hi all,

I was down at Rhossy on Sunday as well... being chased by my girlfriend's dog most of the time:rolleyes: . Looks like there were a couple of you down there too, not sure who it was that seemed to be trying to fly over the dunes to the RAF base but it looked like a laugh. Also liked the pink buggy!

I live on Anglesey and have been buggying for a couple of years, but most of the guys I normally fly with moved to Oz a few months ago. Drop me a line next time you're out.

i bought a 15m ion. :D and i'm waiting for a deal on a water board at the moment! and nat's got a 5m Riot as a lower wind alternative to her VII 16 (when it starts to get get good she's immediately overpowered, hence the sale) and its to go in her buggy when she gets it. :D
