avspider Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 What are Z2's??? "Sub 3m the 15's make race kites super quick but the 2.1ld is mental." Are you saying that sub 3m kites on 15m lines are super quick but the 2.1 Little Devil is mental?? I'm not understanding your short hand code. Are you sure it doesn't mean Little D*#k? Well Stm, MT looks less than ideal today as the WF and TT look to be against us and even your 13P-C may not be enough even on 15mL's. So i may instead stay in watch SGP and SMN. Code Key: STM = smogthemog MT = Mablethorpe WF = Wind forecast TT = Tide tables 13P-C = 13m PKD Century 15mL's = 15m lines SGP = Silverstone GP SMN = Scratch my nadgers I think we need Mr Avspide to pm us all a code card so we wan decode his posts!! EDIT I'd love to see someone trying to Buggy using a zebra, whats the optimum line length and would you attach the lines to its tail or ears? Thanks for that Nick, so the short code you didn't really understand was the phrase 2.1ld, now I'm sure your old enough to remember the little devil. Now I could pick you up on your spelling, but as you are of the older generation now then you can be forgiven ;-) lol oh, and the lines on the Zebra, I generally find it best to attached to the legs, with a go-faster line attached to the Zebra's scrotum. Al, you misunderstand me as your spelling is just fine ....... Your short hand code is where I struggle to understand. You need to treat me like a coffin dodger and type slowly and clearly. Having been absent from this game for 4 years I honestly don't remember some kites and certainly havent a clue what the modern one are. I know a T2 is a Tornado Buggy but thats about it. I enjoy your posts and would like to understand them fully. Quote
smackay116 Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 Do you know what a T3 and a T4 is? Stu Quote
coupe-se Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 Do you know what a T3 and a T4 is? Stu Aaahhhhh ya little tinker!! T3 is a gadget magazine (which i sometime buy). T4 is an event being held on a beach by channel 4. Also ............. a T2 can also mean a Typhoon2, I had a T1 before i packed up in 2007. Quote

coupe-se Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 A P1 in kiting terms is an original Phantom. More commonly though its a special 2 door version of the Subaru Impreza. Why in the hell did Libre call a kite range the Zebra?? Its not exactly a dynamic cool name, not exactly a name that oozes machismo and red bloodiedness!! What next? The Libre 'Anteater' may be in development as I type!! Jojo RM+ aka 'The Widow Maker' was a cool name and a MANS kite as was the Uturn 'NITRO' the names alone make the pulse beat faster. : Libre dont make shabby kites though and calling it a Z2 is a definate improvement. EDIT If I designed a kite I'd call it the 'Nut Buster Turbo" or "B#ll#ck Breaker GTi Overdrive" Quote

RM+'s, sold a set to get the Century2's ;-), but loved them but they had to go to finance the Cent's (thats a Century 2 Nick, made by a company called Parakart Division, also known as PKD LOL) Quote
coupe-se Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 If ya wanna play it funny Spiderboy ......... its Paracontrol Kite Division (na, na, na, na, na!! ) Not heard of Zebra Kite as a kiting manufacturer, are they relatively new Libre off-shoot to the block? They make an interesting looking stainless Flexi-style Buggy. Who ended up top dog on the race kite front? PKD Combats or Ozone Yakusas?? I thought you were a Yak flyer through and through? Quote
Smogthemog Posted July 12, 2011 Author Report Posted July 12, 2011 Yakusa's, Bruza's, Busters & Bolloks; it's all Greek to me Raptor II - Now there's a name synonymous with out and out speed, sex and Carl-Thrashing performance (Even Kyosho??? ) Oh, and Radsail Eolo Buggy :D SPEEEEEEEED EDIT - Who owns Pipistrelle Bat kites? Quote
avspider Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 The race kite out front at the moment is the Peter Lynn Vapor, but have a look at the price eek there mega money. Swannie's quit & Tommy G has his combats, and doing very well on them, the replacement for the combat has been seen and looks nice. The Yakuza GT was a flop. The PKD Century2 is doing well, as they are so usable ;-) Quote
robthenob Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 GT a flop Al! I have just ordered the 14mtr after you said it was oh so sweet!!! lol.... Ah well........... Quote
