kevob Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 ..........has been deleted by the mods again:mad: they send a silly warning but wont answer pm's reason for deletion - linked to a comercial website well the krtv website has a link to the shop site but the site its self isnt commercial its foookin anoying when you spend a lot of time putting a video together only for the mods to delete it from the site and without a proper explanation as to why because we all know loads of people have links in their signatures so whats the difference? it costs me money to make videos for you to view, i dont make money from it - i do it because i enjoy it and cant see the problem flexi dictatorship yet again!! PS flexifoil kites for sale in my signiture!!!

North Wind Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 To be fair there is a lot of kiteitright branding in the video and the last segment is a review (ad?) for PB Floyds supplied by kiteitright. I don't have a problem with that and in fact really liked the video. I am also getting v. close to ordering something from Tom -- but following a personal recommendation not because of the videos. But with all the kiteitright stuff going on in the borders etc. if I were asked straight I would say the videos are more commercial than most home videos. But they are also better edited. Sorry! B.A.

kevob Posted August 4, 2008 Author Report Posted August 4, 2008 north wind i hear what you are saying about the branding in the background but that is for kiteitright tv not toms shop website and yes we did a video review type thing on the vid but it only states the facts and dosnt give a totaly biased review as a lot of people do when reviewing gear on here i though it would be a nice touch to show some new gear on the videos rather than the usual read a long glowing review with a few pics type that people do why can someone do a biased review of a non flexi brand and it dosnt get deleted but i post a video that ive spent alot of time on and it gets deleted for mentioning a shop or a brand while having what i hope to be a lot of entertainment value? i dont pimp gear as i believe the best gear is what suits you and that differs alot from person to person but showing new gear on a video is no different to posting pictures

Glad to see the youth dancing to something decent there eh Josh, new Moby if I'm not mistaken. I like the bit on the bindings, not something I'd consider buying but a good way to look at a piece of kit which I'd other wise not bother looking at. Probably didn't need the "available from kiteitright now" on it though, probably this is what pushed it over the edge for the mods. Moderators, as Tom says, giv eKev some guidence so they can meet your requirements.
