We've got another Kiter amongst us, my father He's purchased his first buggy, a Zebra! Just when you think you've seen it all someone comes up with a great new idea, the original owner modified the footpegs in a way I had never thought. He used small mountain bike bar extensions/verticle grips attached to the straight footpeg then drilled a hole and mounted the heel strap. For anyone else that has a Zebra and wondering, it's actually a really simple, non-destructive modification.

I have been buggy for some time now and i thought it was time to get myself a race kite, for extra speed. While looking though the mountain of web sites i came across one For UFO kites that the ZEBRA Z2's on them. the Zebra kites are made by Libre out of china and are black and white with a red bit at one end. They looked very good and fairlycheap(which is always a good thing!!!). I was on hoilday in the weston area and thought i would pop in to thye shop to see them. After talking to the people in the shop i came away with a 3m Z2. it comes kite only so bought handles and lines to go with them. I could not wait to get back to the camp site and set this thing up. Was warned at the shop that it had a lot more power and speed than my other kites, but you know what we are like with a new toy i had to fly it. Setting the kite up was easy. the kite comes in a stuff sack(so no extra expense on bag). Out of the bag the kite is very well made and has an angle of attack adjuster on the bridle that can be put in any place. this was just on the setting that it came with as i could not wait. Kite was on the field in start position looking nice and new. i keep looking at it thinking that looks big for a 3m!! so with those thoughts i launched the kite, it immediately went from ground to the zenith before i knew what was happening. WOW !!! i thought this is great. the kite turns and powers across the sky like a rocket!!!! it looks great as well. then on that first flight i got lifted and dumped and thought i should use this in lighter winds to get used to it, but first impressions were great. This is a kite that not a lot of people know to much about, but should as i for one am hooked on these now. i can not wait to get out my buggy with this in good winds to really see how it goes with my buggy!!!
