  1. Hi Chris, Wel the good news is that it is really sunny and great weather, but on the downside the snow is not keeping too well. By lunch it has gone all slushy and heavy. But its still rideable and you will not miss out too much. Are you hoping to snowkite while over here,if you are give me a mail. If this weather keeps on like this the snow won't last till the end of season. But if the weather gods are on our side then we should get an April dump. But hey its good for climbing, been out for a few climbing sessions so its not all bad. Enjoy Morzine/Avoriaz dude. Nathan
  2. Had our first snowkite session of the season yesterday at Les Croset, just over the swiss side from Avoriaz. Sweet session had a bad start with dropping off a windlip in to deep powder and getting stuck in a little gully. Once we were off Great times until the mad dash for the lift,we thought 17:00 oh no we rock up at 1645 lift closed 1630 mad run for it to the other lift closing at 1645. Would have been a long night stuck on the swiss side. The Sabre's performed well,Floody1969 on the 9.5 and me on the 11.5.The wind a bit lumpy and keeped swinging. All in all a good afternoon sesh.

  5. Hi dude, your mad for it. Can't get enough. Well fair play dude its more than i've had so far, one minute theres not enough snow on the swiss side the next theres loads of the white stuff and major winds plus whiteout conditions.next week is the week. Have a good one Jon
  6. The snow conditions arn't as bad as they say the webcams are quite hard to show the terrain. There is a lot more then 28% open thats a bit harsh.(http://www.avoriaz.com/ski-holidays/snowsports/operating-lifts.php) Its a bit scratchy in places and bare in the lower areas coming off the mountain, but the piste bashers are doing a great job and the snow cannons have been on making loads of snow as the temp has been low about -6 ish. Hopefuly we will get another dump at the beginning of feb which will be fantastic. Will post some pic's of the conditions of the snowkite site in the next few day's as im heading over there in the morning to check it out. Laters nathan

This guy who say's he's done seasons can't even spell the place he's been. Its Les Gets dude, if you have done seasons at least spell the place right. Anyway give me a PM dude i will send you some pic's of the Plateau you kite on. I fly an 11.5 sabre and its cool, winds to look out for are anything E or W and your have a good session. I will be going up there as soon as they open that side, lack of snow at the mo, dude to dump in the next few day's 30-40cm due. Take it easy dude any more questions just give me a buzz, if you PM me i will give you my email Nathan

  12. Cheers dude
  13. So is there no where in Maidstone to fly????
  14. Is there any landboarding sites in or around the Maidstone area.Im working there the next 5 weeks and need to fly.Could you PM me with names and wind directions etc. Cheers guys. Nathan:cool:
  15. Hi Jon, Yeah was a mad session that day. love the 11.5 sabre, just the landing and take off was a bit extreme. What a mad trip dude, where was the bus crash. Will get those pictures and vid to you. Nathan.
  16. Cool, Cheers for all the feed back great help. Like you say about the step-in bindings they are a bit crap. So will try out a pair of Flow bindings and see how i get on. Really like the mission bindings though, very responsive and have the right amount of flex for in the park. Keep them for the big powder and park days. Cheers again. Nathan.
  17. What snowboard bindings do you use? I ride with Burton Mission 06/05. Would step-in bindings be a better bet. ie easier to unclip to sort out the kite etc.Or flow bindings. If things go wrong you need an easy way out. Cheers Nathan.
  18. Got no PM Jon. Try natway1977@msn.com
  19. Spoke to the school, just come and fly. The best winds are either pretty much East or Westerlys. Through the valley. Nathan.
