  1. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz next insult - wud i buggy
  2. one thing i know = best have suckered you all into believeing hype alone...... ive read so many things that are gonna change the world ive long since said lets see in a years time.................in the meant time best will sell out these kites at the going rate of all the other overpriced brands and probably thank you very much for increased profit margins............ the one thing best have done is made everyone realise how f. in rip off rrp prices are for kites.......... remember nash uds was gonna change the world of kitesurfing......then slingshot splitstrut technology then fifth lines....now best what next..... i applaud development but its very very rare something comes along and wiped out all previous theroy and technology........... new material coloured silver double the price - sweet marketing p.s. i hope im wrong but i personally wanna see safety improved to 100%!
  3. yep sorry my mistake bud struts = 10 psi leading edge = 6 psi ping is my word - plaguarism sucks
  4. right good question ive finally got a pump with a gauge that works - well until corrosion hits it ive learnt on my kites that struts = 6 psi and main laeding edge = 10 psi - what does this mean.........................i know look at my gauge to get it spot on conclusion - ive always been doing it right pump up until the pump cant pump the struts no more and with the leading edge pump until you ping it and it pings in other words gauges are a waste of bloody time - if unsure ask down the beach - not often i grab a kite to launch / land and think mmmm way to soft usually with bit of experience you hit it spot on - its not rocket science you cant burst a bladder by overdoing it - prob weak area waiting to go hope this helps
  5. sweet cave - it gets better kings of leon -aha shake heartbreak ultimate pre surf music to hit in the car on the drive to and fro - it was loud again today - 3rd day running - wife rekons im aving an affair i am!!! keep singing fellow wind junkies
  6. whoaaaaaaaaa slow down kid quite a few beginning locally and the vast majority are very sensible in their approach so best bet is head down and ask questions and watch...... go down to south shore - easy to find - drive past the airport carry on - if u drive into the water uve passed the pay n display car park on ur right simple as that - then find out the best venues from locals for learning and the best tides /winds etc etc........ failing that take up buggying
  7. did u check ur private messages? ffs youll make urself very unpopular quickly getting dragged and in trouble on a beach - never mind the worry of ijury to self / others get down the beach look watch observe and ask questions - dont rely on forums alone - youll learn more listening to people who can actually kitesurf on the water - if 2 kites go 10 and 15 @80 kgs MEDIUM ASPECT! medium aspect we all use , come down ull see you can still jump high on medium aspect kites but thats a bit away you want ease of use etc http://kiteboarder.co.uk the best uk based forum for kitesurfing and you can hitch up with the local nw crew
  8. next time youre out playing on the water look long and hard and ask yourself do you look serious, do you smile, do you look happy.........??? its been said before there are some seriously unhappy looking people out on the water - windsurfers especially german ones in tenerife take some beating...... celebrate scream share youre enthusiam -its infectious we aint buggiers (gay), non lei flyers smile before you look upwards ( ), and cheer if you see somet sweet - jump / wipe out / trick (dont cheer until you kn0w said soul is ok!!!) i do - it helps me at work too and deal with parking tickets - lest we forget how fortunate we are written after a windless weekend
  9. paranoia - i bet you buggy really
  10. have any of you lot deep water packed in big rolling swells? trust me you dont swim you just go with the flow and hope you get thru the impact zone with minimum fuss! ive swum for 20 minutes in the sea - for 10 minutes iwas worried then a seal kept me company and i realised by landmarks i was getting back in - that was september - had it been january id have been in big trouble but i wud av just stayed with my rolled kite and save energy and pray............. never go out further than you can swim back pice of wizz sat by the fire talking about safety - reality kills stay safe - some alarmingly complacent comments circulating here open water aint a warm indoor pool either - dont put ur life at risk or others mart
  11. go do your nails sandmonster - least i float you gays on that side probably sink with all youre ymca gear on ur buggys - what a waste of a potentially good dog turding beach look up the defintion of status qou gayboy - and yes i wudnt call you to youre face cos im not a forum anorak - but im an ard barsteward who can do 8 fully hanging chin ups like that one alib - 8 in the bag today
  12. that is one beaut of a board looks wise - vg reputation that brand - mmm
  13. yep fractured board landing flat from powered kiteloop last summer - managed to get 6 more weeks before it clean snapped however! if you get it wrong them something will break - better a board than a bone? co incidentally i had the misfit board which i thought was pants in anything other than full on powered conditions - im comparing that to what i ride at the moment hanacrew matrix - gets me going far earlier and rides better thru the gusty winds - i weigh 75 kgs also this is of course my opinion a weekend warrior i also think the naish thorn boards do the business
  14. markgayboy - if it means keeping the status quo then yes - i know youre local kitesurfing community have been worried over some of the crass over at ainsdale beach cos of the petty politics and fighting over handbags....... that would not be welcome - open up the beach by all means but keep youre ****e firmly on ainsdale beach................. mind you as some continue to buggy at lytham and get caught its all ammunition for the beach to remain closed - shoot your self in the feet syndrome youre such a man - you cud always wear arm bands if you ever fancy the water - mind you we dont wear thigh boots apologies to all non pathetic buggiers
  15. there the usual heap of totally unfounded tales regards st annes - its amazing ! if you look on a map you will find fleetwood and on the other side a huge mass of sand perfect for land traction activities in safe isolated venues regards st annes - i suggest pick up a phone and ask questions rather than rumours - what ive heared does not spell good news im afraid........... ..then again what do i know im only a local pm me for clarification - its a great beach all right for dog poo
