  5. Hello, if your interested in how to get your designs onto a board this is how i did it, its how they get nice designs on cars. 1. paint you board the colour you want you design to be. 2. Make a sheet of masking tape up the size of you transfer. To do this use a metalic surface, i use the back of a baking tray which works well but make sure its clean! Stick strips of tape onto the tray, overlapping them as you go until you get a big enough sheet. Obviously the wider the tape, the less overlapping you have to do!! 3. get you design and stick it on top of the sheet of tape, i use prick stick! 4. This is the tricky part! Get a craft knife, on of the small ones with a serioulsy sharp blade on it, and cut out the design. 5. you shold be able to peal the design off now in one chunk and stick it onto you board. 6.Paint the rest of the board in you final colour. 7. Wait for it to dry, then peal of the tape to reveal your design. One tip here is to use a hair dryer to warm the tape up before you pull it off, makes the glue less sticky. 8. Sit back and admire the results!! This is how mine turned out:
  6. Yes, forces of nature does have lots of locations stored, but whereswindy is different. It doesent just store location information like other websites, it uses current weather to decide where the best locations are for that day. You can set preferences to taylor it to your needs. It is only in the early stages, but has had a good response by many users and its location database is growing all the time.
  7. There are some beaches listed arround the uk, but yes i am hoping that people will enter their own location so that others can make use of them. The idea is not just to store location information, but to give the best locations for current weather information.
  8. Hi everyone, I'm doing a university dissertation and i managed to get it to include kitesurfing!! The website is www.whereswindy.tk If you have a spare minute it would really help if you registered and added some locations. Hopefully it will be of some use to you all aswell!! I'm open to any sugestions and will try to add whatever you suggest! Any problems or ideas then email me at whereswindy@gmail.com Thank you all very much for your time, Jim
