  1. I would have stepped forwards a little, powered me old kite up nicely, and lopped the kids head off with my nice taught lines. hmmm, thats an idea, cheese wire lines? (its a joke! no white coats needed)
  2. You might be able to get a kheo air-s second hand for that price. I just got mine new due to numerous recomendations as a cheap/budget beginners board, and i recomend fully!
  3. Thanks for all your help, twas a good day, not too much wind, but enough. One thing i did notice is its a damn site quicker landboarding in a relatively low constant wind than a relatively high gusty wind. Anyway, thanks for all your help, its much appreciated. Trants.
  4. has anyone ever been on ynslas beach before in borth?
  5. what about cleaning the kite (blade ii 4.0), whats the best way of doing that? Cheers Trants
  6. I just got a blade ii 4.0 for 195 second hand and a new keho air-s for 165. Seems like a reasonable starting setup to me and not too expensive. Trants
  7. Im off to ynslas in wales tomorrow for my first landboarding beach adventure! I was just wondering if anyone could give me information regarding beach riding. For instance, what sort of sand do you board on (eg hard wet, soft dry etc?), and what effect sand has on bearings! I mean, sand normally trashes bearings on other things (eg skateboards) and im a bit concerned the same thing will happen to my kheo air-s. Thanks for your help and time Trants
  8. Cheers people, that is one perfect website for me! Thanks again for your help Trants
  9. Hi, i just bought a kheo air-s. Seems like a good beginners board. However, im not sure where to start in terms of riding, positioning of the kite in the window, how to tack properly etc. I'd be grateful if anyone could give me any tips or direct me to a reasonably comprehensive beginners site. Thanks for your time and perservearence with yet another time consuming newbie! Trants
  10. Just wandering what shop people would recomend getting a Kheo Air-s board from? (ie the cheapest shop!) Cheers Trants
  11. with a 4.0 metre blade 2 should you be able to sit it nicely in the window without it stalling or should you have to work it? (relatively low/average winds) Cheers
  12. Hi i was just wondering if anybody could provide information on how much i would expect to pay for a second hand kheo air - s. Thanks for your time Chris
  13. Just wondering peoples opinions on the best/cheapest beginners board to go with a blade 2 4.0? Cheers for your time Trants
