  2. Ah Just checked this! Cheers for the offer stuey, but i am going down to Southampton about then! Looking windy this Tuesday onwards...but we need water!
  3. That's cool I have too many people wanting to do it now! Just got news that I'm only going to remain a civilian for the next 6 weeks:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
  4. wind...where art thou? I come up to Bucks for good and there is not a puff! Anyone fancy getting a powerboat L2 in the next month. I need it for my instructors. We need one more in our boat. £195 down in soton! 2 day course!
  5. I hope not! I spent the last three years kitesurfing three or four times a week...and now i'm stuck miles away from the sea for the foreseeable future:( This does not bode well for my sanity:confused:
  6. Hey Ben, how's Cali? What you planning then? James is reckoning on the Fuels!!! I'm of the same opinion...they look awesome! Roll on pay day!!! Adam
  7. Looks like you had fun What's the sound track? Is everyone in MK dandy? Adam
  8. Ahhh sweeeet! Yes indeed! a trip to the brown is needed! There is a chance I might also be heading to California! I have a friend instructing out there atm:) Was it good out there? But I've reverted to beach bum mode. Going to look at getting my instructor course. Been offered a chance at a job in Langebaan:eek: But then again...there's a very good reason to want to stay in Soton...
  9. Cheers gunner, but i think she is buying new now:confused: How is MK'ville? Sorry Elaine, i missed your message earlier! I've been hanging about soton for the last month. Think i have spent everyday at the beach for the last 3 and a half weeks. Im down to my last few days now:( I'll be heading back on Monday! Possibly only for a week or so before i head back down to soton. See you soon xxx

  11. How was your day guy's??? Just out of interest does anyone have a 4 line kite on offer around the 2.5 to 3.5 metre size??? Am searching for one for a friend of mine:) Her budget is in the region of to 50-100 big ones??? Cheers Adam x
  12. And when there is no wind to play with.....look what i have got my hands on.... I have a towbar and the guy who owns it doesn't :D:D:D In calm summer days on the Solent, just when you thought it was safe to play, as the kitesurf contingent begin to moan at the lack of wind, we rock up in this!!! Ha ha wakeboarding galore! It's really dinky though! And it matches....ahhh bless!
  13. Hey guy's, A group of us are planning to travel down to your part of the world for our annual bank holiday may kiting trip! We shall be staying at Hayle. At the moment the wind is looking pretty southerly. Do you guy's know of anywhere that is usable throughout the day, i notice high is mid afternoon, for beginners and average joes alike:) Many many thanks Adam
  14. Yeah it's a long way isn't it? Just worked out its going to take us about 5 hours to get there...in my Land Rover:eek: We are driving down Friday, and are coming back Monday. It's going to be a nightmare journey, but I'm hoping the wind will be kind:)
  15. Seems we're not entertaining the scenery of the gower anymore. We're now going to the bluff, in Cornwall!
  16. Ha ha of course! I have three tents at my disposal:) I have no problem with sleeping in a tent. More fun that way imo! In fact, when we went to the gower in January we slept in a tent. Great fun, until a 60kt gust blew it down:eek:
  17. Thank you:) Nice one if you do. It seems that they are having problems sorting sleeping arrangements. Hill End is a possibility, but only as a last resort because they have to buy tents, apparently:confused:. We usually stay in Rhossili Village hall but they are fully booked. Sooo, if anyone knows of anywhere with walls and a roof, please let me know? I'll be there either way!!!
  18. I'm spiffing thank you:D Yourselves? Just had an awesome weekend kiting down here! You cannot beat 35 kts gusting 48!!! Just finished my dissertation as well. I will be back in MK this Thursday, but only to catch a train back down to Portsmouth for an interview. The MOD eh? I will be back for good, mid to late June when I finally graduate!!!! The University of Southampton posse, all 35 ish of us, will be heading to the gower on the first May bank holiday! So if any of you guy's are down there come say hello. Cheers Adam
  19. Roy Pink Cycle's in Newport Pagnell is MK16 8HD! The field doesn't have a postcode i'm afraid:) Can't miss it though...http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=15765974505833639964,52.100706,-0.700893&time=&date=&ttype=&saddr=&daddr=52.101589,-0.701612&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=17&sll=52.102255,-0.701526&sspn=0.003229,0.00721&ie=UTF8&ll=52.101431,-0.698297&spn=0.006459,0.01442&t=h&z=16&om=0
  20. Any discount for SUKS members:D:p;)
  21. Bump for MR B! Top chap:) It's all true..he's just too thin... Cheers Adam
  22. On the 26th, 27th and 28th of October you will find myself and about 400 other very drunk/hungover/annoying (delete as appropriate) students at the amazing wild west themed Aussie Kiss VI event
  23. Right! I've been fed wrong information... The kite that got chucked was a 2004 Airush lift 9m. NOT a flexi whatever. The guy only desires an ion! A case of kitesurfer talking to non kitesurfer talking to kitesurfer:rolleyes: Allways going to be a case of chinese whispers! In this case i would assume the cost of this kite is alot less? I think you have hit the nail on the head there! It might surprise people but, and only from what i can gather, the company involved is doing this guy a favour. If ti had been my kite chucked out i would be ****** off but it would be my own fault...i wouldn't expect anyone to replace it for me;) cheers Adam
