Hi, Sorry for the delay in answering my Internet connection is playing up at the moment.
Mark, So will some of the w/w guys be missing the Ainsdale event
Mark, I think Simon, Karen, Rich and Dan Brazer are going.
Andy, What's needed to compete (insurance licence membership wise) and what time do you start.
Andy, Fed insurance and pilots licence which you have. The current North Somerset council rule is that you must belong to one of the clubs allowed on the beach, so W&W membership £5.0, race fee £0. We will be trying to negotiate with the council to allow visiting Fed members next year.
Pilots to be there for 10am and hopefully start 10.30 ish.
Are you thinking of coming Andy?
Active, out of interest, how do you get the licence?
Oh and dose that mean that the zone is closed to everyone else for that day, just wondered as I was going to go there on Sunday.
Active, to get a pilots licence you do a written test, which I think you can do in your own time and buggy, round a course with other pilots safely, you need to be in a FED club.
For obvious safety reasons while racing is in progress other buggyers need to have their kites down and be out of the way. So in between races you may be able to buggy for 10 mins also before and after the event as well.
Kitset, OBTW..... Dave could u do my Rob’s pilot's licence on Sunday please
Kitest, Sorry but I am not a qualified trainer, I am not sure if any trainers will be there, Simon was planning on getting back from SC and racing Sunday so he might. Rich Brazer may be back from the SC as well .
