Hey Dave I spoke to the farmer this afternoon about the land and he's ploughed it, power harrowed it and is going to be sowing it with grass this week. He said the as soon as the seeds have germinated and the grass is established then we will be able to use it. He also said we are welcome to go and have a look at it whenever we want ...do you facy a trip over there early Wednesday evening ?

Spoke to the farmer yesterday and he said theat the field has been ploughed but it still needs to be power harrowed and rolled. He asked me to call him back in about 10 days. No phone or Broadband at home yet so I can only post messages when I go to my local Starbucks coffee house !! Only 20 more boxes to unpack .... Oh well I'd better get on with it ..Can't wat to get back to work on Monday !!

Hey Tim do you know where you can fly in Southend ? cos next time I might just take my gear.... You are right about a decent amount of wind, it does always seem to be pretty good down there LOL.... :cool:

Ant's sound like you had a good weekend Was there much wind ? I was going to go out yesterday morning but there seemed to be bugger all wind so we went down to Southend to see family and when we got down there it was really windy !! I knew I hould have taken my gear !! Oh well..... Dunc did you get over to Bunkers yesterday ....?

I got a Foretrex 201 and as said earlier it's a top bit of kit. Also comes with a serial cable so the you can download data to your PC. Highly recommended.....
