  20. Hi John Yes that was me with the kite on the ground (again). If you see it again come over and say hi. Also as this is your second child could you advise me as to if it is ok to leave a three year old looking after a baby in the car or do they have to be pegged down within a certian distance of where I am flying? And as for Mr NN's comments I do believe that several MP's and popstars have been caught and arrested for pumping in public so I converted to the religion of the sponge. On a lighter note please dont let this sport end up with a sectarian devide as I for one could do without the American's popping over to practise their frendly fire in the name of peace-keeping. May I also be the first to wish you all a Merry Christmas. Neil
  21. Ah, I have been spotted. Yes I did have a go on Sunday and very much enjoyed the time I had however having Mrs B and Miss B in tow limited my time to just under an hour flying which is a bit of a bummer. John from the previous page is in for a shock if he thinke he will be able to get out more with a little one. I could have less time in the new year as there is a Master B due April/March time. Anyhow as DM says Arcs all the way now.
  22. Hi Dal Like you I flew fixed bridal kites (BIII 4.9) and I fly mostly inland. I found the blade an cracking kite but there was always that voice in my head saying "you will get spanked" and I did several times. After watching other kiters flying arround on big ARC's whilst I was just hoping to stand up on the board. Tried LEI's but found them not to my liking so tried an ARC. Today was my third outing on an ARC PL G1 10m, good wind today and what a time I had. Plenty of power easy to control plenty of time on the board. My advice to you is ask to have a go you will not be disapointed, you will not loose anything by asking but you will know what it is like to fly a diffrent type of kite. Good luck and enjoy
