  1. Think I'll nick that idea sounds better than jubilles Cheers
  2. I got them on my bug.Only thing is the rear wheel's outer covers keep coming off and sonner or later I,m gonna lose ,em:( So i thinks I,ll get some jubillee clips i reckon their be better than cable ties:D Well worth getting though ,practical and it sort of tidies up the head stock, thats if your into tidy;) . Point to note :use boiling ,boiling hot water to soften rubber before squeezing it on,oh er
  3. Going up about midday, earlier if poss. I got a spare set of lines for 2.5 bullet i can lone out I,ll bring em along but their only 135kgs which is alright most of time but not really up to extreme usage;) Cant you put the lines from your g.fs blade on it ,they should have a higher rating ,then upgrade the blade lines ,kill two birds with one stone so to speak:) My missus is wanting to come as well so i hope its not too damn gusty ,she needs to get some confidence back after that spill:( Mind you i think i,d like low winds as well ,that 6.6 looks a beast especially led out on living room floor:cool:
  4. Only messing mate You going to cleeve on sun . With any luck i shall give it a go .Just got my 6.6 blade so need to set it up:D . Got the ozone lines for it as seems to be the recommended route to take, you got your line probs sorted
  5. The fish is hooked
  6. Sympathies from me on all accounts mentioned on this here thread.Have had same problems myself. Couple of tips and tricks worth trying. Be nice to start but not forever you all got rights Have a camera, even if its an old empty bust one. Point out its an offence to not have dogs under sufficient control. They are liable to any criminal damage impossed on you or your property by their cannine darlings. Take a reg. no. of a car if you can.If you have to use it. Most important of all ,be smarter than the daft buggers
  7. I bought a brand new motor bike once The chain snapped after only a few miles The shop told me i must have been a bit aggressive and wouldnt dish out a new one.************** Some retailers are just too bloody keen to take it ,and hang on to it ;)
  8. Hi there mate. We spent 3 weeks at Newgale last August and going again this year . great place ,nice pub Duke of Edinburgh, and a good ice cream van.If you feel fit try out Druidstone haven its a hike with the buggy but if you beat the horses well worth it. Nice beech with cliffs and waterfall, very photogenic. Broad Havens real good even better if you catch the tide right ,you can get to Little Haven ,great blast that is.Might see you there ,happy days . PS dont tell too many people how good it is let em go somewhere else;)
  9. My flexi buggy suites me great and i love it . But a good point i thought i might mention is that i broke a buckle on it and the people in repairs at flexi had one on my door mat the very next day FREE OF CHARGE .Nice one eh:D
  10. Try birdland in bourton-on-the-water sorry couldnt help that cleeve common ,selsey common maybe or is there somewhere out by the Rissingtons, hmm ,not sure. Should be windy up on that old stow wold though ,so take your woolies
  11. Nice site Cleeve hill . Me n missus get there as much as poss:D .not much in evenings now though:( .I try n manage at w,ends maybe see you there ,say hi. Was up there sun morn not much wind , dogs chased kite , horse galloped over lines:mad: Was better week before ,low cloud limited visibility, good wind, grass like an ice rink :D . I try to buggy as much of the space as poss n never had probs with wardens but i hear one is a bit of hitler maybe ,but they just seem to watch so no harm there.Come across one arsey 'orse rider though you now the type no chin with a big thoroughbred;) or is that no chin n a bit inbreed:D
  12. Just use LOADS of BUNGEES add a couple of belts or buckle straps if your worried or string or shoe laces or rope . Oh and dont break the sound barrier . .Where you going somewhere nice i hope (gotta get away soon myself i think).Maybe gotta wait till easter though ,then newgale here i come yeeeha:D . Oh if you can learn the dolly knot its the best way to strap stuff down with a rope , use it all the time on truck and roof rack . Ask a friendly lorry driver.
  13. Yeah me too in same dilema .I will say that a chap that buggies where i do uses a 6m LD i dont think he gets much more time than i get on my 4.5 so i think low winds might need something bigger still .The man at kite shop reckons a 6.6 blade might not be enough for low wind either .8.5?? i dunno thats a big size diffrence from 4.5. .And they 'aint cheap. Shall keep an eye on this thread with much intrest:)
  14. Number of pounds spent to number of hours fun ,thats the question right? I.M.H.O. worth every hard earned penny:D But dont become too obsessed;) .(A bit like me i guess ). Second thought become obsessed or should that be possessed;) .Its too good it should be illegal . Just come back from my local spot and that makes me a happy easy to live with chappie. Get your gf flying too ,mine does ,makes her more sympathetic when i say "i think i need..................":D
  15. Take off front wheel plus headstock .Take off rear wheels. loosen strap for back of seat and flatten.Tie on with loads and loads and loads of bungees. :)
