  15. No sign, but anyway - Im obviously not as observant as some of you, I was right there in the thick of it and saw nothing!!! Just your usual - sure noone was testing out the local beach grass and seeing undesigned masterpieces in the sky - Just like upturned blades???
  16. Think you missed the point a little Tone.... I will hapilly follow rules, as Im sure will 95% of kiters. We just have to KNOW them first....... Ahem
  17. Yes, I remember you guys, nice shorts too, I agree! I was with a friend of mine on a 6.6 Blade! I was just to the right of the rock's, which I now understand to be out of bounds. Won't be doing that again..........
  18. I understand how important it is to kiting, thats why rules are imposed. But as Spooky rightly said, although we think everyone reads the forums, in reality, very few people do. Especially in relation to the amount recreational flyers that use UK beaches... Frriends of mine that fly at Brancaster have been braking rules, but they were only aware of this 25 mins ago when I phoned them. There is no way of them knowing about these rules unless they are posted at the beach. And I saw the two kids with the bullet and board, and im sure the same applies to them... Ps. I did see some kiteboarders walk to and then back from the water in the morning, but I didn't see anyone on the water... Bit chilly?......
  19. Easy Tiger.......
  20. I was flying Brancaster on New Years Day and i was filming too! But it was about 17mph wind, there was a couple of Blade 3 6.6's in the air, a Bullet 3.5, a Blade 3 4.9 and a couple of others further down the beach! I was there between 10 and 2 - Wind died off a little then! Looking back at the tape I cant see any UFKites!! Was it later in the afternoon?
  21. Thanks Lem..........
  22. - (Pulled from landboarding thread) OMG - Had no idea of the restrictions of this site! I flew at Brancaster the other day (Just visiting Norfolk) - I flew all day and had no problems, loads of other kiters there - no-one said anything to me! Probably won't fly there again or not for a long time but it's strange no-one mentioned that you had to be a club member! You'd think someone would have noticed that I wasn't a familiar face. (Being only 30 max in the club!) There were also two of my friends there who arn't members of these forums - Just casual flyers from the area, who fly brancaster regularly. They wouldn't read these post's and therefore wouldn't know about the restrictions! They've never been approached either. Do the rules still apply to recreational Flyers?
