  1. outtacontrol; good to see u'v made some progress. it'll be interesting to see how it turns out..
  2. matrix trucks use a skate hole pattern, but i'm not sure if it's old-skool or nu-skool hole pattern... and u'd also have to drill 4 holes for the tophat screws, but that's no big deal i don't know the axle size on the airdeck trucks, but assuming it is std skate axle - 3/8", then u'd need nu hubs if u bought channels (with their 12mm axles)...
  3. and here's few pix of mine: http://www.geocities.com/andrewmcleod/m1.html
  4. - no speed wobbles so u can go as fast as u dare; makes em good for bombin streets - turn really tight; great for carvin down steep stuff - bigger wheels - stiff - generally this is good for downhill, but i don't really go for frame-style rigidity - the steering system feels as direct and responsive as u'll get and i like how much the deck rotates - look pretty insane; turn a few heads anyway; they're the advantages. there are of course disadvantages.. (and note: this is about the Outback-design 3wheelers; not the kitedeck.com one)
  5. i ride both a 3wheeler (and a 4). the 3's feel WAY diff to a 4 and take a fair bit more getting used to. the height is an issue, also the weight of them and the bias of your weight towards the front of the board all make it feel pretty sketchy in the air. great for carvin and goin fast though. and the nuer DirtTheorys are lower and get ur back foot as far back as possible. they r a bit lighter too. 3 wheelers (the outback design) would be useless for kiteboarding though coz the don't go backwards (without u falling off when u try to turn). also they r heavy etc.. and just to clear somethig up - both Exit (in UK) and DirtTheory (in Australia) are currently making 3 wheelers; and the original designer gets royalties from each sale, BUT he is not the same dude that owns and runs DT. they r mates though.. lates macca
