have any of you guys thought about the lansdowne playing fields in bath? It's not huge and it does have some goalposts up but it is a good site. Better in the summer when they take the goalpost down. Plenty local buggiers and landboarders use the site. Can post directions if needs be.

You could always come and chat to some of the people who buggy up at lansdowne in bath. I've met some of them and they seem to be fairly sound. Failing that, get yer ass up to selsey common (just outside stroud, about 45 mins away) and see the peeps up there. Very friendly bunch of people, if not a wee bit loony who will, I'm sure, be only too pleased to drag another wayward young person into their world! Agger is the man to chat too (allegedly)

Cheers guys. Will get in touch with t/w no doubt. Steve...... The il2k is, well, how shall I put this? Interesting? to fly. It's certainly a whole world of difference to the elixir. I don't think I've managed to get the thing to turtle or pancake yet without having to throw my whole body downwind. And that was in an 8mph breeze. I'm sure it's just a matter practise.........GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR............ I'm actually determined to love it as my elixir is now hobbled and I want to prove to myself that IS a nice kite. LOL

just a quick q, anyone know where the best place to get spares for my elixir in the uk are? Preferably in the sort of somerset/bath area? And any idea how to fix them on? I've lost a nock off the wing tip and it's left some sort of bizarre screw thread device which is actually rather loose in the spar? Ideas anyone? Thanks in advance! Aunty Em? Is that you? For sale to highest bidders..... Flexifoil stranger......well used but still good kite bit grubby but i will clean it up, promise. no, actually, i can't be bothered. in Green/blue/white/black colors. no lines. HQ Obsession...... Again, well used and a bit grubby, small repair on sail (10mm or less) No lines, In grey/white/red colours. HQ Jam session millenium Black sunrise...... Guess what? It's a bit well used, has a small repair on the trailing edge. No lines, Black/rainbow colours (surprise!!!!) Flexifoil Super10..... Aqua, used but in good nick, no repairs, with lines and handles. Comes with free souvenir quantity of westward ho! sand. All of these kites have been well used but are generally in good condition if not a little bit grubby on the tips/noses. If I could be bothered to clean them up they would look a whole lot better. But I can't be, I'm a very busy man. I'm bein honest as I don't want anyone whingeing when their kite arrives and it has some sand or a speck of mud or a piece of repair tape on it!!! Offers please by pm or reply post. you could always come over to bath for a fly at lansdowne, there are occasionaly some trick kite fliers there. I'm there occasionally but am still learning the basics really. Can just about manage a snap stall at the moment. ha ha ha

I used to buggy and fly power kites but have now given up due to time/location constraints. Does anybody know of anyone who flies in and around wiltshire/bath areas who can give me some pointers with my sticky kites? Failing that just some good places to fly that aren't a million miles away! Cheers chaps spencer

cheers peeps! next q's.............. 1) where is the best uk site to pick up 2nd hand delta's? There are very rarely any for sale on here,ebay or any of the sites I know! 2) Can someone recomend a good high wind kite? Autumn and winter are coming and I think I'll need something vented, I already own... Jam sess mill, obsession II and stranger if that's any help?
