I started on a Litewave 158. bomb proof board with plent of float. would would not go far wrong with one of these.

look every one, i have owned both G1 & G2 and the fact is they need more wind than an L.E.I I am currenty going well on North Rhinos... much more low wind to get up and going/ the foils just need more wind L.E.Is are the one.

cheers oliver. we are catching the ferry from plymouth to roscoff and driving to tollouse. (family) staying for 5 days then driving back. on the way we need some good places to stop!!! for a nice break says the girlfriend. kite surfing I reckon!!

Any one know of a good places to go kite surfing between Roscoff and Tolouse? staying near Tolouse for a couple of days so anywere within a couple of hours from there would be good.

you can but rubber knee pads for my work trousers all you would need is a hard wearing material to house them in http://www.snickers-workwear.com/ should give you some ideas you can get these knee pads from moost plumming merchants

Cheers Npeac will try this next time I go out some times the speed does drop other times the kite maybee just that little bit to high..... its all practice (Do I have to Work???!!!!)

Very true, last christmas hol went to furte for a week not the cheapest time to go..... but a good time!! stayed in simons (Furtesport) apartment near flag beach (Highly Recomended). A law should be made about the price of flights at peak times.

any one recomend a good place to go kitesurfing abroad over christmas? will have to suit a non kitesurfin lady aswell somewere cheap but warm and good winds?????

no it was an 04 but it had the double spring sytem no damper and not spinning lets hopethey sorted the problem out because the consept is great

I had one great idea but it did punch out on me a few times......... sold it with last kite.

Cheers people I have taken the two fins off last weekend and it did make the board easier to turn (Cheers Richard!) The major problem is allways being blown onto the beach maybee its just practice I get pulled off the edge when the kite is high but if i keep it around 6ft off the water I can hold it better. will keep trying with current board for abit (this will save the pennys!)

I have been K/Surfin for about a year now and would like a little advice on what board to buy next i currently have a llitewave 158 but am find getting up wind very hard could any one recomend a good board. was thinking of the north dragon i'm 6ft tall and 14 stone thanks

Keep trying dude, took me a while to but then somthing just snapped, can get up on the board and edge ok after 5/6 hours flyin in the water. what kite you flyin?

I can REALLY recomend simons arpartment in only ten min drive from flag beach, nice location.... give it ago I stayed there last christmas.. the perfik christmas! :)

Thanks for your advice, we have been trying all the car hire places we can find on the web but none have any cars, have cheeked your website simon but the same problem. hopefully we will find one when we arrive. Ross.

We have been looking for car hire in Furte but no luck, every ones cars have been rented out..... it seems. any one got any ideas or contacts we are arriving on the 22nd and staying for a week. PLEASE help!! we cant be car less:eek: :eek:

Will be going to Furte Over xmas, booked it a while ago then started seeing threads saying it was no good for kite surfing... please say this is not true!! any advice were to go e.t.c. we are staying in the north part of the island about ten mins drive from flag beach.. please peeps any advice?
