  1. Happened 2 me on my air-s on about the 3rd ride, heard that evil sound and couldn't work out what it was until the second bearing on the same hub went and the wheel was f*cked... Got a set of scrub landboard bearings, work fine, just grease em up and push em in (may take a bit of effort). You can get these bearings off powerkiteshop, coastguard kites etc etc under landboard accesories for a tenner (8 bearings). WK
  2. Cheers chom but the Spirit is over 140 quid... By the way with all this Camo stuff no one has told me which is better, the Air-S, Flexdeck or Airdeck!! WK
  3. Ok cheers guys seems like camo is the way to go... Where can I get one though? People have been saying Halfords but couldn't find them on the site... Help!!
  4. Which board do you think is better for kiteboarding - Kheo Air-S or Flexi Flexdeck/Airdeck? I've never tried kiteboarding but I do loads of other boardsports and I'm experienced at flying... And if you wanna suggest any boards other than these three, please do - but I don't have loads of money Cheers WK
  5. Woo! C-Quad 6.3 yesterday!! For about five seconds, then I snapped a spar connector. Oh well, had a killer time on the BII 3m and lil devil 4.5. INSANE!!
  6. cheers M8, hope i can find a deal as good as yours :-)
  7. What do u guys think that the lowest possible price i could get on a second hand buggh would be? I know there are loads of different types, prices, blah blah blah, but what do u think would be the lowest price 4 a preowned buggy (one which will not fall apart in 5mph winds :-)
  8. Well I'm gonna get a Blade III soon aswell, and a first landboard! Personally I was thinking about the flexdeck more than the airdeck, purely because it is a better all rounder. I like the graphics on the airdeck more but it is just not as good all round as the flexdeck. I know that this doesn't really help much, but it was interesting to see someone in the same boat as me.
  9. If it helps, i've had plenty of boarding experience: i can skateboard okay and have been snowboarding for about 4 years.
  10. When i say kite boarding, i mean with landboards/mountainboards, i didn't mean kite surfing!
  11. I'm gonna have a fair bit of cash left over after i buy my new Blade III 4.9 so i figured i might try kite boarding. Any suggestions for a board? I don't want just a bog-standard one though, i want to not buy another board for a long time so i want a board which will still have lots of opportunity for freestyling once i (hopefully) get good. Cheers for any suggestions!
  12. Go on newworldwarehouse.com you can buy tasers. That'll keep the mutt away!
  13. Should be alright if u tape it up as long as the winds aren't too high and you dont let your mate use it!
