  1. You've got to try a few on, but I found the libre deluxe harness to be sweet.
  2. I've tried everything on mine, and only silicon spray did the trick for me. Some cleaning products contain silicon, such as mr.sheen, but I just use straight silicon spray.
  3. I agree. activevIII does them at a good price.
  4. Don't believe what they say about not much lift in a race kite either! When I first got my 4m RM+, I got the fright of my life! I first had my 4.9 blade up, just jumping and stuff, then put it down then put up the RM+. Wow! A slightly smaller kite, but because it moved so much faster, I was majorly lifted up in the air. I treat it with a little more respect when jumping now! Gav
  5. 1st power kite, well done! But be warned, once you start there's no stopping! Good move mate.
  6. I have been using 25's but then got a 30m set. There's quite a noticeable difference.
  7. aarrrm, I will be in Ashford for the next 2 days.... but then back to oz. sorry, doesn't help you too much i spose.

    Help Vps

oh ok, that would make more sense. Is the vps bridle on and setup then, or is it a little stuffed up (hence why you are after the manual)? Failing that, I've seen on other threads here where other people have been kind enough to send a copy of their manuals to kiters in need..... Do a quick search, or maybe someone has one out there????

    Help Vps

The vps is only really the bridle........ so without it you don't really have a vps. Should be plenty around now for you to pick up though.
  10. Probably sounding like a broken record, but I've found the 8.5 can fly in much lighter winds than my 7.8. Very nice kite.
  11. Thanks mate. I will be based in Melbourne (I'm in the UK for another couple of weeks before I move back home). That'll be great if you could tell me who I should contact. thanks heaps Gav
  12. any australian insurance? I'm in uk at the mo, but will be moving back to oz permanently in a couple of weeks.... looking forward to beaches with sand!
  13. Hi, does anyone know where I can get some sort of buggying insurance in Australia? Also, does anyone know where the best place to buggy near Mornington? thanks!
  14. oh ok. I prob won't be there for a couple of weeks myself.... the ground is very hard there and my ankle is still recovering after my blade collapsed on a jump.... oh well should be good again soon i hope cheers, Gav
  15. Is this Dave from Crawley who has the 5m Peel?? It's Gav here...... with the 4.9 blade flying at Southgate playing fields some time ago.......
  16. Took the 8.5 out yesterday in a little too much wind and have now sprained my ankle. It wasn't too powerful launching and sitting up high, but then I thought I'd try a jump and jump i did!!!! ....... but then I came crashing down. I used to have a 7.8, but this is MUCH more powerful. I'm now out of action for a couple of weeks, but WOW what an awesome kite!
  17. £33.... that's more than $13AU per issue..... not cheap for such a thin mag, but since it's the only one out there who's complaining!
  18. Got my 8.5 today! Awesome looking kite!! and I only ordered it two days ago from coastguardkites. thanks guys!
  19. you're absolutely right, but this is revision 3.0 now, 1.0 has been and gone!
