  1. Coastguard Kites are currently offering 15% discount and free delivery on Flexifoil Mountain Boards.
  2. Darrenwooly, The Super 10 is a great kite but you could get an HQ Symphony 3.3 for the same money. I have both and the Symph offers up about twice the power of the Super 10, it is also more stable, easier to solo launch and less likely to break as it has no spar in its leading edge. You can also convert it to four lines! http://www.coastguard-kites.com/hqsymphony3.32.jpg
  3. Nice!
  4. If you have ever heard of wheels called Bigfoot Lights these are basically Bigfoot tyres on standard rims. http://www.coastguard-kites.com/librebigfootwheels.jpg Did you say you have bought knobblies? If so which ones?
  5. The Da-Kine Speed Seat wins hands down, IMHO. The build quility is superb and it offers far more support than the Quadrifoil or HQ types and doesnt cut-in! When buying a harness it is worth paying a little more for added comfort and safety.
  6. Other than the standard tyre (4.8/4.0-8) you can also fit the following: [*]Bigfoot Tyre (21/12.0-8) [*]ATV Tyre (18/8.5-8) [*]Extra Wide Tyre (16/6.5-8) [/list=1] All are available at Coastguard Kites
  7. Coastguard Kites does a lot of international orders and shipping is at cost as far as I know.
  8. Not a Skytiger fan then Andy?
  9. I have had two different retailers confirm that the Skytiger is being discontinued in March!!
  10. They are discontinuing both the Viper and Skytiger at approx the same time as they are launching the Bullet and it can't be designed to compete with the Blade II/III so it can only be described as a Viper/Skytiger replacement surely??
  11. Considering that it is replacing the Viper and the Skytiger they would have been silly not to put it in a similar price bracket.
  12. Wasted at 07:48 PM!!! GOOD MAN!!
  13. Thought it was too good to be true! Did he tell you it was Pegasus in a PM? Was he too shy to come back to this thread and prove his claim?
  14. Come on, its no good dropping a thread stopper like that and not supplying all the info!!! Where have you seen a Super Truck for £460 ?
  15. I think if you ask the guys at Sq/m they may disagree! Yes it is not a complete buggy as it requires wheels and a seat but they do sell the "PowerMax buggy chassis Kit" which if you had this I guess you could then call it a PowerMax buggy. My point was that you call yours a PowerMax buggy when in fact most parts on it are made by Libre so it is more a Libre buggy! Just me being picky
  16. So am I right in thinking that the only Powermax parts on it are the downtube and sidetubes?

  19. Someone PM Grunty and ask him to post a pic of his wicked Gold Mk1 Ford Escort!!!
  20. It's there in black and white if you look! And if you can't understand the difference between a leash and a depower strap after my last two posts there is not much more info I can offer you!!!
  21. Flexifan, What you have described is a leash not a depower strap! The leash does not depower the kite but simply stops your control bar from bouncing off the heads of those around you if you have to let go of it. A depower strap goes around the centre of your control bar and connects the brake lines from your kite to a central loop on the pilot side of the control bar which when attached to a ground stake depowers the kite and allows it to sit on the ground unaided. You can pick one up for around £14.95
  22. Is everyone missing the point on this (aside HD462) or is it me??? The whole point of having brake lines on quad handles or a depower loop on a control bar is so that you don't need a friend or any dangerous protruding objects to hold the kite on the ground or launch/land it! You simply insert a suitabley stable ground stake into the dirt/sand and anchor to it your brake lines via the loops on the brake end of the quad handles or the depower loop on the control bar and the kite will safely sit on the ground. When ready to fly remove the handles/bar from the ground stake and launch and do the opposite to land. The use of poles sticking out of the ground is both unecessary and dangerous to you and your kite! And "wot no wind?", if you are still removing your lines from the kite every time that you pack it away you may benefit from the following advice taken from http://www.square-metre.co.uk http://www.stratus-design.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/square-metre/firebee/lines/preview/line4.jpg ......http://www.stratus-design.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/square-metre/firebee/lines/preview/line3.jpg
