    bum

Thanks for the tip, I've always rated your tips very highly, can't go wrong with that one ha ha
  4. I have had a look for it, I think it was probably on the team Xzone site cos Burgy went out to the states last year to run some speed trials with a bunch of other kiters, looked like fun, huge dry, flat salt pans
  5. No but I think they had to change their tyres they are rated at 20 mph and the salt beds there are very unforgiving, they have pics of the shredded tyers on the site.
  6. Agger posted something about EN BS CE marks a while back, I can't remember exactly but cycle lids are only rated to about 12 mph. Check what the number stands for, there are hundreds of different numbers for different activities.
  7. Wasn't that the original date for the launch of the B3, last year?
  8. Fantastic I'm sure there will be a great turn out if you are bringing the beer From Baldock on the A505 to Royston AT first roundabout on the by pass take old road to Royston. Follow road to outskirts of the town Royston Heath sports Club is on the Right hand side of the road. We fly on a small mown bit they use as the golf practice ground.
  9. Come and see Royston. Be sure of a walm welcome, or more locally if you can get into Knebworth Park I'll find a link to a sit that mentioned it if I can find it. Nope can't but it said something about arriving after they stop charging Look us up on the meets forum Royston Heath
  10. AGA and a pair of hand cuffs to stop them straying too far from the cooker for girlies :D You laugh my wife was well upset
  11. The first jump was pants. The first time I got lifted however (kite 12 o'clock etc) not expecting it, 12ft (witnessed) was something else. 4m blades are fast kites and dump you quickly. Result Broken foot
  12. PROFESSOR FACE PLANT AS I REMEMBER :D :D
  13. When it's so cold you can't feel your nose, and youv'e been hanging on to the handles so hard that the blood has drained form your fingers so you can't hold the handles anyway that's when you will decide to stop. When the blood starts to pump back into your fingers, thats when you wished you had never started :D ITS ADDICTIVE
  14. It cost less than a fiver at Stapletons tryes, nice people, let them do the hard work. ;)
  15. Saw a guy with a tandem the other w/e. Remove the front wheel, not the head stock, and U bolt the foot pegs of the rear buggy to the rear axle of the front buggy. Seemed good, never saw it going but with the head stock still attatched, it will give the articulation required too.. See how you go but for the price of 2 U bolts......
  16. Thanks Nytrox 5 psi was about where I hoped to get the pressure down to. Do you still use the barrow wheels? I think I will miss the ability to throw the buggy around as you can with barrows, but looking forward to a more comfortable ride at speed:D
  17. The fitter did put the lever through the inner tube though. Should have seen his face when he realized he would have to take it off and start again Gave him £4 tip thinking I would get billed for it as well but he said not to worry :) So top blokes at Stapletons. :D Need to keep them soft to give more shock absorblion over rough terrain. With barrow wheels anything over 25 mph and fillings start coming loose :(
  18. What pressure do you run them at? I went to the tyre shop to get ATV knobblies fitted and they said not possible. I told them it was for a buggy and the manager said" I play alot of Golf and I've never seen tyres like that on a buggy before" So I explained and they fitted them. Much easier to stand and watch than fight for hours with 2 screw drivers ;) I run them at 10 psi at the moment but would like to go lower. Waiting for more time and more wind to experiment. Any set ups situations appreciated. Turned the front wheel into a mud ball on Friday wouldnt go round in the forks
  19. So I thought I would take the children off the wife's hands for a while this afternoon, (let her do some gardening, read the paper enjoy the silence). and take them buggying in the field at home. My son 4 goes to play in the water trough and gets soaked, while I trundle across the meadow. There are too many trees so the wind is crap, but I was not going very well and thought I had a flat tyre, look round to check the rear wheels and there is my 3 year old daughter hanging on to the rear axle. 1st run with a reset the speedo 15.75 mph. Not bad for a 3 year old I thought But grass stains to make any one skudding jealous, and anyone doing the washing a little cross :(
  20. Depends on the size of the kite, but if you want to be able to fly for longer in strong winds and not feel like your arms want to drop off then it is great to be able to hook into a harness and rest the arms for a bit, but definately learn to fly without a harness, you will have much more arm movement to adjust the kite and learn what is hapening to it. A cheap quadfoil is fine
  21. But who cares for $20 Juliet
