  14. spooky. 661 (sixsixone) helmets are made of fibreglass and or fibreglass/carbonfibre depends what model you go for and they have helmet vents cut/molded into them.
  15. spooky, if you look under the padding or even the skip you can see the fibreglass and they sure smell like fibreglass and resin when new unless i have got a one off one. abs plastic is smooth both sides check a skate helmet or any other abs helmet the plastic is smooth on both sides whereelse a fibre/composite one is smooth on the outside and the inside you can see the fibres/resin.. i too was amazed to see that mines are not plastic but fibreglass/composite construction..
  16. ralphy, bought one a month ago its made of fibreglass looks and smells that way at first . fits my 61cm head as a xl but is a bit uncomfortable at first really could do with more padding inside . like the ventilation and the holes for your ears to hear out of so having a conversation with your mates or some complaning goverment/council official is fine youll hear ever word and its not bad weight wise i was going to get a motor bike helmet but lack of ventilation and weight put me off. motorcross goggles fit a treat and dont slip i certainley do feel safer wearing this as opposed to wearing a plastic skate lid. for the money its just fine . lucky for me i cant say how good it fairs in a wipeout vision i can see perfect no blocked vision.
  17. hi your lucky you have it to read ordered it at my local newsagent and still havent got it yet my only complant is why over the past 4 mths havent they sorted out the distrabution of the mag to newsagents its the hardest magazine to get hold of and no newsagent within 18 miles stocks it apart from wh smiths in irvine ( which has now shut down) the 1 here in ayr dont stock it. only 1 bikini pic thats pants....... more please and some pictures of nice sunny beaches...........
  18. a water pistol or larger filled with you own **** when the dog pisses on your kite, board buggy, lines etc soak it in the eyes with the water pistol containing said item of liquid followed by a a squirt of the liquid at the dog owner. or take some eggs rotten prefered and hit the owner or dog with them . make sure it doesnt punch you back.......
  19. mine cost £20 from windthings. made by chiemsee very comfy fabric.
  20. ill need to try and get up to stevenson some time its a great beach up there. was down ayr shore some guys flying blade 2 4 and 4.9 and a blade 3 4.9. it was bl@@dy gusty windy here today then went to troon to see the kite surfers WOW. i could certainly see the power difference between the mk2 and mk3 blades of the 4.9mtr size the blade 3 rocks....... had the wife and the wee one in tow so only flew the pulsar theres some pull for a delta but i hate how noisey it is it sounds like a spitfire i prefer the wosh of the foilsbut good for tricks. boater so the 300/200 will be ok for the buggy upto say 15mph?
  21. thanks for the replys. a lovely jubbley flo yellow 2.5 bullet should be in the skys very soon tuesday i hope. is it ok to run it with 500lb main and 300lb brake lines or is the 300/200 lines up to the job ?
  22. what would be best for coastal area with a buggy a little devil 2.1 or a bullet 2.5 for the winter?
  23. what safety standards does the helmet conform to?
  24. there nice looking helmets . in the cycle shops around here i can find the 661 mullet helmet @ £29.95.( 661 full face bravo 2 @ £98.95 (hand laid fiberglass) and the 661 bravo carbon @ £168.95(carbon fibre/fibreglass) i have seen the full comp it retails @ £ 69.95 (polycarbonate molding but not seen it in the flesh only on the web. the only problem i see is over £60 +you could buy a motorbike helmet. the problem with the motorbike helmets is no ventilation. so what do you go for the amazing looks of the 661 with the coolmax and ventilation or a motorbike helmet better safety standards? have you seen the fox tracer helmet A Polycarbonate outer shell, fully removable washable comfort liner and cheek pads, adjustable visor, cooling front vents and a litany of other features . Including many of the same rigorously tested and developed elements found throughout the entire helmet line of the race-ready Tracer sauitable for cycles and mx motorbikes. its a real nice helmet very comfy retails for £89.95 mountainbike uk magazine this month has a group test of helmets one is the 661 full bravo 2 they gave it a 9 out of 10
  25. the sixsixone bravo 2 is made from hand layered fibreglass with eps foam inner to take away the shocks and the followed with an open cell foam with coolmax to take the sweat of your brow.it looks nice too its 99.95 or so to buy. thanks for letting me know of your helmet but i prefer to buy new when it comes to helmets. what you selling all for?
